The wood stove installer promised a straight chimney was possible. But once he got it installed, I realized I have a dogleg in the pipe. So the stiff 3/8" fiberglass rods (B0778XH959) I already had purchased would no longer work for my 6" flue. I had to sell the stiff rods (1/4" NPT connectors) and get these flexible rods (1/4-20 connection) instead. These are much thinner (1/4"), but they still do work pretty well. I also had to get an adapter to be able to thread these rods together with the brush head (B008OMK47U). It works decently well, and the connections seem solid and strong.

These bend fairly easily, but worked for me since I just have a straight pipe. They would work if you have any elbows in your stove pipe.

Good quality, flexible but strong. Not to be used with a drill, but you don't need to, works great by hand.

Use this to clean my pellet stove chimney liner. Perfect amount of flex to get around corners.

I was worried that the handle would not be flexible enough, but I was surprised. It went around every part of my stove pipe .
