Summer Flowers Honey Jar, 17.6 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I first purchased this wonderful honey a little over ten years ago at a local store. It did not take long for it to become THE ONLY honey that I welcome in my hot tea. My idea of heaven is an evening cup of Numi Earl Grey with Langnese Summer Flowers Honey a lemon wedge and fresh ginger. Who knew that a specific brand of honey would so impact my life. Just the thought this honey's magnificent flavor and my tongue starts searching for the much-anticipated texture that I've come to equate with Langnese Summer Flower Honey, bringing a smile to my mind's eye. Langnese has a wonderful line of honey such as Creamy Country Honey which I highly recommend spread on warm buttered toast. From the moment the shape of their jar is held in one's hand, it's obvious that Langnese has well-earned pride in their line: Langnese Summer Flowers Honey, Creamy Country Honey, Forest Honey or Acacia Honey. I am not familiar with Langnese Bee Easy Honey, Wild Flower in a plastic squeeze bottle, but I hope this does not mean that they plan to switch from their wonderful glass jar. That would be a big disappointment for me, I collect the jars and use them to display my craft trinkets, on my spice shelf, and where ever I need a little order.

This honey was given to me as part of boxed gift for my birthday. The flavor is delightful & not too sweet, just right. I use it in my tea, it's perfect. I also use the honey in my morning yogurt bowl with fresh fruit to give a touch of sweetness & added flavor. I have since sent a jar of the honey to a friend who loves honey & they absolutely love it!!

Half the jar is already crystallized and no longer honey.

I have memories of this honey through my German Grandmother, Walburga Steffen n. Prang (b.1907- d1990 ) she gave me this honey through my childhood visits to her home. Haven't been able to find it, but found it here. I read some of the reviews about the honey, but don blame the honey for turning to sugar almost all honey crystalizes. Place the jar in hot water until it liquefies but once liquefied, it stays that way for a while. My favorite go to honey, for all of my life, (69 years old) come and enjoy it! Great for tea, homemade natural cough syrup made with onons and honey recipe on line great for soothing sore throat!

Always my go to honey. Really high quality, great aroma and great taste. You can tell this is pure honey. The bottle itself can show how much care has been put into this product. Arrives safely packaged.
