My cabinets I don't think we're high enough over my toaster oven, so I got this to protect it. Sticky part is very sticky, so it holds very well. I feel comfortable knowing that the heat release will not cause issues with my cabinets. I did screw in a 1/2 inch strip at the back of the cabinets so that it tapers to the front to lead the heat forward.

I like to insulate the enclosures of my 3D printers to reach higher chamber temps and retain heat for increased efficiency. I've used other kinds of bubble wrap insulation in the past, but this stuff was both easier to use and is doing a better job with less lost space. As pictured, I used this to line the inside of my Sovol SV08, it's a fairly big printer and I had plenty left over. The adhesive made this a lot easier to install than other products I've used. Time will tell if the adhesive holds up, but so far I have no complaints. For a professional installation, you should also employ some foil tape to cover the seams, else you will get glass hairs coming out with time.Safety note: this should be obvious, because it is fiberglass, but wear gloves when handling. This stuff likes to dig into your skin.

Using to line under kitchen cabinet where I keep a toaster....as a heat shield to protect cabinets. Works great..........

Used this product to reflect heat and sun away from my RotopaX gasoline container. So far adhesive is doing its job. It is subjected to saltwater and direct sunlight.
