No maintenance battery
The GreenLiFE GL100 is a boaters dream. I purchased 3 of them to support the refrigerator on the boat. The reason that this is possible is that these batteries will take 100% of whatever charge you give them, unlike lead acid batteries which can only take 20% of their rated capacity. So with enough solar cells or engine you can keep the batteries at an acceptable charge ( the lead acid batteries couldn't keep up). And the major advantage is there is no maintenance other than charging (no messing with acid). The team at GreenLiFE were very helpful and knowledgeable (especially Matt)-a pleasure to work with!
