Tasty
I'm not keen on chutney but the rest of the family gave this a big thumbs up for flavour.

Nothing like piccalilli
This dreadful slurry of micro chopped vegetables with ingredients inappropriate to piccalilli bears no resemblance to the name. My grandmothers scullery girl's version in 1945, my mother's version, my late wife's and my daughter's all surpass this by far. We ate home made piccalilli in Kenya in the 1970's with home made pork pie and they were delicious. The spices used are wrong and the sharpness of flavour absent. I strongly recommend you avoid this product to avoid disappointment.

Excellent marmalade!
I ordered chutney but I received marmalade. It's really excellent marmalade which I will happily eat and enjoy but I'll have to knock off a star because it wasn't what I ordered.

I loved this.
I liked this so much. The flavour and the texture. It was good with so many things. I wanted another jar as soon as it was empty but it had disappeared. I’m thinking it may have been a Christmas item. I will look for it again next winter season. It is a small jar but I may just be too greedy. 198 grms

The best I've had
Probably the best piccalilli I've ever tasted. I'm normally not bothered by chutneys of any kind, but I ended up eating this with a spoon. It doesn't have the sinus-melting sharpness of some mustard pickles.

Not the same as Hayward's.
It's not bad and I have no problem eating it with cold ham, but it doesn't have the chunkiness and vinegar/onion bite of Hayward's (unfortunately now discontinued) that I liked a lot, and it's twice the price! I would call it a chutney rather than a piccalilli. Think Tikka Masala versus Madras curry! Of course it's totally a matter of taste and I'm sure others will disagree.

This product has a distinct rosemary flavor and I use it as an enhancer for a number of pan sauces - lamb chops or rack, veal chops, etc. It is easier than doing some form of reduction with dried or fresh rosemary and you don't have to strain it. But it comes from Britain and is quite expensive, especially with the outrageous shipping charge.
