My son is in LOVE with this toy. He has recently been into cars and trucks (he is 3) and this garbage truck makes garbage truck noises and lights up. He loves the bright lights and the noises but he also just likes to play with it how it is. He also likes making his own noises and it is quite a big size. You can put things in the back where the doors open and shut and it is pretty great and durable. Even my 7 month old reaches for it sometimes. There are no small parts so I do not have to worry about choking hazards and it came with batteries which was great! Love this toy!

Very realistic looking and fun toy. I found it a little bit odd that no where on the box did it list even simple instructions on how to use the features. I didn't realize at first that you have to push the truck down and forward for a few seconds to get it drive on it's own. I like that the back opens up so things can be put inside and then dumped out.

i always like to do a review after the toy has had a chance to make it or break. My 3 year old daughter 100% loves this truck.There are two buttons, one that makes sounds and the other that lifts the "hydraulics". She loves the sounds it makes, the light up headlights and side lights, and the dumping action. It is easy for her to use and enjoy. She loves that it keeps rolling once she lets go. This toy has held up to multiple crash tests by her. I took one star off because the hatch door came off it's hinges and needs to be re-hinged frequently. it hasn't snapped or broken off. It is something that she is able to redo most of the time. So mild inconvenience, nothing that would prevent me from recommending this toy or using it.

I have two little boys that love trash trucks and I saw the bruder ones that are too expensive and big. This is a cheaper and smaller alternatives, since we already have so many toys. It does not have the little trashcans and tongs like the bruder ones but my kids didn't even notice. They loved that the truck bed flips up and down and the inside is big enough to put trash or 20 Hotwheels cars lol Also, the box says battery not included but it is :) All toys should come with batteries. The noises were weird to me but my children let me know those are the sound a trash truck make.

While this truck is a A great garbage truck it would be better if it even worked. The labels on the truck were stuck on crooked in fact the entire back was put on crooked. My son loves that he can open up the back and put small toys inside and also push a button to make the items dump out however it is very poorly made and the sounds and lights on the truck worked once and stopped. The truck was not dropped or miss handled it just is based on being built poorly. I am not impressed at all.

The truck is an okay truck for a toddler to push around and pretend with. The sound did not sound like a garbage truck and it was way too loud even for me as an adult. It would hurt a kids ears. My nephew did like the back that opens up so he can put little pieces into it and pretend he is really hauling away the trash. It has a button on the side to push and lift the back and dump it as if it was real hydraulics on a big truck. It was easy to push and did travel a nice distance even with a small push. It takes 3 1.5V button batteries not 3 AA like the description says.

Okay, my son watched the garbage truck every Thursday so I was excited to find this truck. I wish this truck had existed when my 17 year old son was little because he really likes the garbage truck too. But anyway, my younger son loves playing with this truck i also got him a garbage truck board book to go along with it. This toy makes lots of noise and has bright lights which my son absolutely loves. He also puts stuff in the back because it is, after all, a garbage truck. It's a nice size, not TOO big for little hands. I recommend this truck!

Broken after one week. The button that controls the light function stopped working after just a few uses. Only a one month return window and I purchased the item a month before gifting so I’m out of luck. Beware of poor quality light switch.
