Piece of junk
I have had this for 13 months and paid $2000 for it. The leather has now ripped on the front and back side of the back part of the chair. Also the massage intensity button on the remote stopped working. I called the company about these issues and I was told that none of them were covered under the warranty. This company does not stand behind their product. A $2,000 chair should not be ripping apart and the remote not working after a year and if it does the company should make it right.

A VERY SNOTTY CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WILL TELL YOU, TOUGH LUCK, IF YOU EVEN SUGGEST WANTING TO RETURN IT! DON'T SPEND $2000.00 ON THIS UNDER-SIZED CHAIR- ALSO, IT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO LIFT YOUR FEET WHEN SITTING UP-RIGHT. MOST SENIORS NEED TO ELEVATE THEIR FEET WHEN SEATED- TWO BIG STRIKES AGAINST THIS "PERFECT" (NOT!) CHAIR! GO BUY A CHAIR YOU CAN TRY OUT FIRST- THE ADS ON THIS CHAIR ARE MISLEADING! Chair is not as advertised.
The“Product Description for”The Perfect Sleep Chair) is false. My chair was delivered to me on 10/23/17. Problem #1: My chair was does not lie flat. The foot-rest does not extend until the back of the seat is 9 inches lower than the front of the seat. The end of the foot rest is 3 inches lower than the front of the seat. That creates a big angle of knee-bend. Problem #2: The foot-rest doesn’t extend when the chair is in an upright sitting position. Problem #3: The Lift Chair feature takes me (5’ 6”) high above the floor and I have to slide out of the chair down to the floor. Problem #4: The massage feature in the seat back is only in the upper shoulder and neck area. There is no massage in the lumbar area. Problem #5: The “White Glove” delivery wasn’t good. The delivery was 3 hours after the notified time of 9-12am. The delivery person didn’t know that the one pillow provided had to be pushed into the 5 ½ inch gap between the seat and the back when the back is extended. Problem #6: The 5 ½ in gap is supposed to have a flap of leather on top of the pill attaching the back to the seat with Velcro. The flap is several inches too short. The Owner’s Manual show that I should have received a flat-bottom pillow to attach to that area. Problem #7: The manufacturer sent a replacement seat back to correct problems, but it was not sized right and couldn’t be attached to my seat. I’ve received no word from manufacturer or seller re any corrective action. Problem #8: The seller replied that I cannot return this chair because I’ve had it more than 30 days. My first complaint by phone was 4 days after delivery; 2nd complaint by email was 9 days after delivery. The promise of “Complete Satisfaction” has not been met.

Warning! FAKE Leather!
I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I bought the Perfect Sleep Chair only two years ago at a cost of over $2100. I chose the burgundy- colored "DuraLux Leather". After only 13 months the leather surface began to crack and peel. I contacted the seller, but I was told that the leather is only warrantied for one year. Now after almost two years, the chair surface is literally DISINTEGRATING. Please see my attached photo. Please be aware that the Perfect Sleep Chair is NOT made of genuine leather. It is made of cheap inferior artificial FAKE leather (laminated polyurethane). The seller should not be allowed to use the term "Leather" in their product description. The chair will look OK for the duration of the one-year warranty. But it will begin to crack and peel immediately afterward. I strongly DISCOURAGE anyone from purchasing this chair.

Poor customer service. Declined warranty request. **UPDATE:**
I was really looking forward to this chair. The talented advertising writers, slick web design and friendly sales people made it seem like the “perfect” solution to my cervical damage related sleep problems. With surgery looming, the sales folks did their best to expedite delivery. The guys who set the chair did the job well and were very courteous to my wife and me. Ten days after delivery, the chair developed a problem. The back lost firmness and a gap formed between it and the seat bottom. The heat pad began digging into my lower back, my hips kept slipping through the gap and the “perfect” sleep I was hoping to enjoy was no longer possible. My first call to customer service seemed to meet with a professional response. I was told to expect a call from a service tech “the following day”. That day passed without a call. It all went downhill from there. When I called for an update the following morning, I clearly drew the short straw with a different customer service agent. Her attitude set off alarm bells with me.I was told to expect longer delays and the problem was essentially my ignorance. Since that conversation was growing heated, I told her I wanted to take advantage of my 30 day grace period and simply return the defective chair for a full refund. She declined the refund request. Another week has passed with no call from a service tech, and I’m fast approaching the end of my 30 day grace period. Now I’m forced to hire an attorney. I suggest you research the other negative reviews and seriously consider another company for a medical lift/sleep chair. These folks are a “perfect” pain in the butt.UPDATE: I received a very courteous call from the Customer Service Manager who assured me they would honor their warranty in whatever way I desired. Since I really need the chair, she said they would deliver a replacement for the defective chair. She wanted to stress they would refund my money if not completely satisfied. I added a star and will upgrade my review if they are able to fulfill her promise to me. I remain hopeful.
