The Grandpa Soap Company Oatmeal Bar Soap - With Organic Oats + Chamomile Extract, Gently Exfoliates and Softens the Skin, Vegan, 4.25 Oz, 3 Pack

I tried a Grampa's Buttermilk soap bar at Christmas, when it was gone I was sad and my skin even sadder. I have opted to try some of their other soaps PLUS sticking with the buttermilk for mainly my face and some "other parts". This is a GREAT soap. It has a very light scent that's natural and calming and does NOT linger on skin. A faint honey oatmeal type scent, it will not knock your socks off. My pictures are of their large bar after 1 use in the shower. As you can see it's on the thin side, for me that's a con, I like a BIG healthy bar of soap that will last, and these do not last. This has some mild abrasion to it, and I do mean mild. Feels like small grains of sand but not even enough to get dead skin off. I figure if you need abrasive you will add in a luffa or a bath scrunchie or a brush to your bath. I like how my skin feels (and I am older) after use. No scummy feeling, not dried out, not oily, just CLEAN. I am a HUGE fan of many goat milk soaps (except Beekman 1802 as their junk is fillled with chemicals and they are selling snake oil with 3 drops of milk!) but this, though not goat milk, is just as good if not better. I did quick rub hands under the faucet for a picture so you can see how fast and well this makes a nice creamy lather. And that to me, since its all natural and doesn't have all those evil store junk ingredients in it for lather, is impressive. What can I say, it makes me feel TRUELY clean, not like I am wearing a layer of scum. I also have some parts of my body that suffer some irritation and this does not burn in any way, and I found with their buttermilk, it actually HELPS and I mean in a matter of days! So again Kudos to Grandpa and the ladies who continue this business of natural, healthy, soap making. Just make BIGGER BARS! :) I look forward to trying some of the other flavors! *DO SHOP AROUND-YOU CAN GET THIS CHEAPER THAN HERE!*

Always love Grandpa co soap. The scent is great, not too strong. Clean ingredients and high quality. It is a bit more expensive than I'd like but that's okay.

Let me be clear: I'm a man who wants one thing to wash with. An all in one, if you will. I've tried all the self proclaimed 3, 4, 5, in one products and didn't like one. I have some sensitive skin issues and have to be picky. I tried the Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap and it's nice, but just couldn't win the family over with the smell, which I love. So, I decided to try this one. I love it. The smell is...unoffensive. It smells like lightly perfumed oatmeal. This stuff leaves my hair feeling like silk and doesn't dry out a single inch of my skin like Castile soaps tend to do. My rough spots are clearing up, and my skin is healthy. And it's relatively cheap. I'm on my second bar, and the first one lasted almost a month. I over lathered the first few days until I got a feel for the right amount, so I bet I can get this next bar to last a whole month. The lather is pretty average and applies easily to a wash cloth.

The soap has a mild pleasant clean smell and lathers up well. It seems to be nondrying. I like that it is clean, with no phthalastes.

Really helped with poison ivy rash! It softens the skin, calms the itching and redness! Helped my daughter's acne as well!

This bar soap is ultra comforting to itchy skin! I get poison ivy if I even so much as look at it!!! I use the bar down to where I can hardly hold onto it! LOL. … As you can see by the photo … Thumbs up!!!
