I love doing pull ups and chin ups as part of my overall fitness routine. I am 6ft 2 and find the door frame bars no good. This standalone bar is perfect. I can keep it outside and with a max height of 230cm its great.

First of all, I'm a lightweight (1.65m) and a variable 60kg. How you big fellas are happy with this, bewilders me.That cross bar needs more support, even for simple pull ups. If you include leg swing with a pull up for a muscle up, it becomes quite dangerous.It is sold as a varied height, it didn't say you needed two spanners to adjust the height , which is time consuming and annoying . My previous pull up station had knurled knows which made adjustments easier.Assembly is straightforward, if you realise the support bars, have two different angles at each end.For stability, I have bags of sand at each corner, cheaper than weights.

Easy to assemble and serves its purpose. No complain so far, been using it for 3 months. Im only 70kg, supports my weight with ease and good stability.

This is a good pull up bar, my husband is very pleased with it ( he is 6"3 for reference)It does get a little wobbly when he starts to do leg raises but he counteracted that with weight plates at the bottom. Overall very satisfied and would recommend

This unit is great for the price, and does serve it's purpose as a pullup and dip bar.I find the pullup bar is very thin in diameter, and quite painful to use in comparison to any gym bar I've used. So I did have to wrap it up with some rubber grip tape.The unit is not stable as others had commented. I am 85kg and this thing wobbles enough to reduce my confidence when doing pull-ups.Doing any other exercises such as front levers or muscle ups is out of the question as the unit just tips over. Placing additional weights on the support helps but not fully.When the pullup bar is extended to max height. The unit is very unstable, the parts do not fit very tightly. So even if toppling is reduced. The unit still shakes around in its joints.Easy to assemble and looks alright
