This product works to keep snow off my windshield. It has several small magnets sewn into the cloth to keep the product on the car during windy days. I’ve purchased several and used them on cars and trucks. It may take several attempts to position the product in the correct place to keep it on the windshield through different types of weather but it’s worth it. To be fair, I have not used it during freezing rain yet, we have dry snow where I’m from.

This is about as thick as a t-shirt, but made of plastic. If there is any wind, it's difficult to use becauseit is so light, mighttake two people. That said, I got two for $10 because they offer a bulk discount if you order more than one. I needed one for my rear window on a CT200h lexus hatchback. The other for the rear of my wife's Toyota Prius. I have a nicer one for my front window. This does work, but I wouldn't recommend for front. Honestly, unless you just wanted something cheap and larger, which this is very large (the best feature), spend the extra $10 and get something nicer.However, if you only want this for rear to wrap around the rear door, this works well.I probably will only use it a couple times a year. So for that, this gets 4 stars and a smile.Hopefully, my review is helpful.

This is a great cover when it comes to keeping snow off of my windshield. Unfortunatly I do not have the luxury of having a carport or a garage like most people have, Instead of having to scrape snow off my windshield all I have to do is pull the cover off and it comes off in a big sheet. I however do not like the fact that it does not come with mirror covers. However, My mirrors fold in so this is not a problem for me but for others it might.

This windshield cover is a typical cover. It will do the job of keeping frost//now/ice off a car's windshield, but it will not withstand any wind at all. The magnets aren't sufficiently strong or placed strategically to hold the cover down even if the wipers are placed on the top of the cover to help secure it in a wind. The cover is wide enough vertically (roof to hood) to cover the windshields on all four of my family's vehicles. However, horizontally (door to door), the cover doesn't have enough length to be securely closed into the cars to keep it from blowing off.There are 'anti-theft' straps that dangle inside the car on the narrow flaps that extend into the car. These straps are simply foot-long pieces of elastic with plastic buckles on the ends. How they serve as anti-theft is bewildering, since a knife or scissors would make quick work of stealing the cover while leaving the anti-theft straps safely inside the vehicle.This is a 'meh' product. It's neither good nor bad.

Quite a pain to put on. I tried to put one side on and when I closed the door the air pressure from closing the door blew the cover out so you have to hold the cover and close the door at the same time. As you can see from the pictures, the magnets do not hold at all and the straps that the door is supposed to hold pulled out. It’s a very thin nylon. I believe a heavy ice would tear it easily. It MAY work as a sunshade on a very calm day with NO WIND! I would not buy this! I guess it is a $9.00 item.

Wow, fast shipping and great product! Easy to use as I got this for my husband because he is always trying to get the frost off this time of year and as of today he is one happy man! Easy way to make someone who hate to scrap frost/ice off windows happy!

This is what you need to cover your windshield from ice and snow! A must have

First off, I don’t have a garage, and my car gets hit with snow and ice every winter in Utah. Therefore, this car cover helped save me some time. I didn’t have to scrape as much snow or ice off my windshield. However, with any wind, the cover blows all over, so snow/ice could still get on the windshield. The cover fits my Hyundai Santa Fe, and it is easy to put on my windshield. Again, it does move a bit because there is no real way to fasten the cover on the inside of the car. The car doors and windshield wipers are what kept my cover in place. The magnets on the cover help only a little bit. Overall, it did save me some time.I recommend this car cover if you don’t have a garage or something protecting your windshield.

Blew off first day installed so checked out why: Dime size magnets are not strong enough to hold; Flap straps are at least 2 feet away from being able to attach both ends to each other to hold. REMEDY: I bought 5 stronger magnets, inserted with dime-size magnets & used small bungie cord to attach both sides inside. RESULT: Snowed...cover stuck to windshield, could not pull cover off without ripping it...took me about same time to painstakingly remove it as it would to clear snow by hand. You be the judge...
