Decent Coals for a longtime hookah Smoker
So i've used a dozen kind of coals and know about all the issues, like ashing, heat retention, size, time to light up. These goals do the job and last a good amount of time.Ashing - it is fairly average, you will need to ash the coals after 25 mins of use in order to get that clean burnHeat retention - Does a good job of giving you a steady flow of consistent heat.Size - This is pretty average size. I use three coals at the start, and place them on the edge, I bring the coals in when i want it to be hotter. If you're smoking properly, you shouldn't have a burn issue.Time to light up - I use these on a portable electric stove i have dedicated to lighting coals. It generally takes 8-15 minutes to light up to satisfaction. How long will they last? - they will give you consistent heat for about 45- 55 minutes on average. I like my coals giving optimum heat and will change the bowl out every time i want to smoke. I know friends who will use a second round of coals to get the "most" of their bowl, and these coals will do a good second round as well.Overall, these are decent coals that will help you smoke a decent bowl. I'll definitely buy again.

Best
Used to buy Coco Nara's but lately they had started to Ash like Crazy and the smoking session was rather bland due to the ash and having to clean it up or move it out of the way to keep the session going good.....also users on Reddit complained of the same thing, switched to these and the ash is bare minimum.....I only flipped them like once and they are good for a 30-45 minute session......highly recommend.

good, but relatively small
I like the coals - but they are smaller than the other brand titanium cubes I'm used to - due to size, they tend to burn through quicker. Smaller size may be better for some.

Very distinct coal smell
They claim to be odorless but they are by far the most stank coals i've purchased that claim to be odorless thus far. They are fairly small but that isn't quite an issue. They burn decently, leave a bit of ash but overall decent charcoal.

Great quality coal
Much better than cheap round cut coal. It is not too fragile when heating up

Not worth buying from Amazon store.
If anyone knows these coals they are essentially the best out there now. Coco Nara has changed drastically with taste and ash so there is no competition. The real issue is either for cost savings (even though they charge 20 for the box which is significantly higher than a store or any retailer) or some other reason, but they ship these in regular Amazon envelopes. So you will almost always end up with a bunch of broken coals.

$24 a box is ridiculous
Really good coals. Very little ash, long lasting, no noticeable taste and a good price. Definitely will be buying again.***Updated review: price has increased to $24 for a box of 112 and I will not purchase at this price. I am switching to Titanium coals, similar product at a cheaper price.
