Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed 2, one for each of 2 showers & chrome look with knurled grip areas. These fit the bill perfectly, installed fairly easily, look great, & perfect for a steady grip in/out of the sheets.

Need better installation instructions. I do a temporary install of the three-hole piece and use that to mark the holes.I then drill the holes.Then I remove those three holes pieces and put on the two covers, then the three hole covers.I make sure that none of the three holes sites behind the pipe.Looks great and a good value.

Made our bathroom and shower much safer

I like the fact that it has a crosshatch gripping texture and it was easy to install, BUT the instructions don’t make it clear that you have to make sure all the holes are on the outside of the bar. As you see in my pictures, all three holes have to be on the outside of the bar. If one of them is on the inside of the bar, it’ll be impossible to get a screwdriver in there because the bar gets in the way.

Special equipment is required if installed on a tile wall, particularly if it is porcelain tile. Good looking. Textured surface a good idea if in a shower.

The entrance to my house has two steps up from the sidewalk to a front deck. There were no rails because there were only two steps. However, I have friends who really needed something to hang on to. These did the trick. They're attractive and aren't obtrusive. I'm sure they'd be the same in a shower or anywhere you need something to hold on tol.

My mother is in her late 80's and has problems with mobility, but I happened to notice that her bathrooms were not equipped with items that would make it easier for her to move around. So, I took steps to correct the problem, by adding grab bars and a raised toilet seat.Although I am also a senior citizen, I have been fortunate not to experience mobility issues. But when I renovated my shower, I decided that it was prudent to install grab bars. I chose the anti-slip grip grab bars because I could imagine the potential for your hand sliding on a wet grab bar, if it was not anti-slip.I was concerned that the lower price for this product would result in it being poor quality, but this was not the case. If mounted properly, I found the grab bar to be very sturdy. The reason I say if mounted properly, is because I am not a fan of the plastic wall anchors that came with the grab bars, because I don't feel that they are strong enough to prevent the bars from pulling away from the wall if someone applies too much pressure when trying to pull up on the bar. If I am not successful in screwing into a stud, I choose to use toggle bolts that are designed to support heavy loads.Regarding the lower price of the product, I assume that one reason for the low price is because some assembly is required. But assembly only requires that you attach the grab bar to the mounting bracket, However, I offer this piece of advice. The mounting bracket has three holes for the screws to be inserted. When you attach the bracket to the grab bar, make sure you turn the bracket, so the holes are in a position that makes it easy to insert screws. If you are not paying attention to how you assemble the grab bar, one of the screw holes might be blocked by the grab bar and it will be difficult to use a screw driver.

Easy to install. the grip is a plus. Having these in white was the reason we chose this item. Thank you, we love it!
