As an older woman with very pale tender skin I get frequent heat rash and rashes from contact allergies. I use Aveeno Colloidal Oatmeal bath packets and bar soap. While the bath packets are effective I do not have time to take a soak bath every day. Therefore I purchased this Aveeno Gel. I use it multiple times throughout the day and after showering and it is fantastic! It stops the itch and soothes my thin, dry, irritated skin. It lasts for hours and has a lite pleasant scent. The gel is perfect as it does not leave a noticeable residue. It absorbs quite well. I do not have eczema so I cannot attest to this product’s effectiveness on eczema.

I love this stuff! I've been using another brand that is a little cheaper, but it's started to burn when I apply, which makes the redness even more red. After trying the Aveeno, I wish I had been using it all along. I get bad eczema on my face and after using this for a few days, the redness and flaky skin are pretty much gone. My skin hasn't looked and felt this great in ages. I'm excited to see what it does for my skin after a month of use. It feels so soothing when I apply it and it leaves my skin so soft and feeling really good and the best part, no burn. I highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with eczema.

I bought this along with the same calm + restore moisturizer, lotion & cleanser and I noticed that when i used the other products on their own it worked fine to relieve my skin and with this "rescue relief trestment" gel cream I have an insane amount of skin shedding even after exfoliating and in places there was not flakey skin. I'm not sure if this is what its supposed to do or whats in this that makes it do this, but be prepared for a lot of dead skin to come off ya

This is very effective helped clear up my hand eczema quickly.

It is good, but less good than the Aveeno Eczema daily moisturizing cream. I will not buy it again but instead I will buy the Aveeno Eczema daily moisturizing

This treats my husband’s eczema on his face incredibly well. Applying straight out of the shower seems to work well. It clears it up within a couple days and keeps it at bay as long as he buses it reliably. I’ll definitely be continuing to purchase this!
