The Trek (Reading Rainbow Books)

Such a clever story. I enjoyed this book so much as a child and had to purchase. Kids enjoy it as well and had so much fun looking for the hidden animals on each page. Since reading it, they have been noticing a lot more on our walks.

It came as advertised in basically brand new.

The Trek was written quite a long time ago, but as an elementary school librarian, I read it to my classes every year. The kids love it. They shout out what they can see as the main character walks to school. I have also bought it as a gift to several kids. Love it.

Fantastic gift for kids, who get a real kick out of finding the animals, again and again and again.

I read this book to my childrenand now I purchased it for my grandchildren.They love looking through the illustrationsand finding the different animals and birds-discovering what might be lurking around the next corner.

The children in my class love this book. A big Plus, is that they can read it too--mid first grade and up. This gives them a feeling of success, which encourages them to read more...

My 6 year old brought this book home from the school library. Although I've not been buying books recently,everyone in the family loved it so much, that I decided we need our own copy and maybe some more as gifts.

I am an elementary school teacher who loves to read aloud to her students. My students are addicted to Ann Jonas' books. They especially loved this one because of all the searching for the different animals. It is even better than the I Spy books. The children can't wait to read another one of her books.
