NOT BASSWOOD!
It is advertised as basswood however it most certainly is not basswood. It does not carve easily or smoothly as all other basswood does- a complete waste of money!

This is NOT Basswood!!It's not even its closest cousin Lime.It splits, it's grainy, NOT white and certainly doesn't carve like butter, I use decent sharp flexcut knives stropped every hour, good size blanks but they are not Basswood.Do not advertise as such.
