I got these in the mail, and went down to the local hardware shop and they cut the keys.Then I got my two original keys for my Jeep, and followed the procedure they indicated - put the first key in, and turned the key to the run position (do not crank the engine) and waited about 5 seconds. Took the first original key out and put the second original key in and turned to the run position (do not crank the engine) and then waited 10 seconds or so. Then put in the first 'new' key and turned it to the run position, waited a few seconds, and then started up the vehicle.Works like a charm! 2nd worked just as easily.If your fob only has 2 buttons and you get the 4 button type (like your jeep does not have the remote start or options) just the two buttons will not work, but the key and lock/unlock/security all works fine.For the cost I would definitely recommend these replacements if you have your two original keys.

After finding a place to cut the keys.I programed the 🔑 with no problem. Great value for the money. To early to give a remarks on durability.

Keys are a good value. The instructions to set up the chips were useless, and they had to be purchased from JustAnswer. JustAnswer is very clumsy to navigate, and can get costly. If you use JustAnswer you need to be very careful or you can end up purchasing info from all over the place; like landlords, lawyers, councelors, etc. Plus the instructions I got did not work.

Got them cut at a Chrysler/ Dodge dealer ( recommend ). If you have both /. 2 keys, this could not be any easier.Follow the instructions, and you'll be fine.

Worked perfectly for my used 2007 Dodge Durango which only came with 1 key.Locksmith programmed these new fobs and keys no problem.Holding up well with daily use for over 1 year now.Great product and great price.

Wasn't sure about these when I first ordered but these are awesome. Had to go to my local Jeep dealer to get the Key code (free of charge with proof of ownership and photo ID) then took blanks to a local locksmith and he cut both blanks for $21.50 and after that I programmed the keys myself. Easy to do with help from YouTube to walk me through. Well worth the cost considering it would have cost me over $400 to get a single fob and key blank from the dealership. Thank you

Inside the packaging were named locksmiths where we could take and have these keys programmed and cut. $95 Canadian per key and done in 25 mins for both. One key only at the dealer was going to cost $500 so really happy with this product!

Unfortunately I only had one remaining original key fob so I could not use the DIY method although I tried. I took these keys to get cut for $5 each and then to the dealership who warned that they had 60% of key fobs purchased online successfully programed at their shop. I had to pay the $75 non refundable to do both keys even if it was unsuccessful. This brand worked! The quality of construction of this item is very good. I bought these keys for my son who will also take to the jeep dealership.
