Exactly what I wanted. This pochette is just what I was looking for. It’s small enough I can drop in my purse and go, beautiful and well made, with excellent, heavy-weight watercolor paper.I have used watercolor, art markers, pencil and ink on this paper and have loved the results. Perfect for my “postcard art”. I wish I’d made this purchase a long time ago and plan to buy more to give to artist friends as gifts. I highly recommend it!

What's not to like? It's perfectly portable, sturdy and makes my art case a fully functioning and beautiful set to carry out into public. The paper is robust and has a great feel to it. I will gladly buy this again for me and as gifts to other artist friends.

As an artist, I appreciate quality supplies and this watercolor paper travel set is the finest I've encountered! The kit comes with a leather travel pouch to protect my little masterpieces and blank sheets that I take into the field, along with additional refill sheets of premier cold-press watercolor paper to restock the travel pouch as needed. It would be a perfect gift for any watercolor artist or experimental artist (sketching, mixed media, acrylics) to take on the go. I love the look and feel of the pouch and paper, and the size is perfect for traveling.

I ordered this to bring with me on an upcoming trip to Tuscany but I dont think I'll be able to wait that long to use it. When I unpackaged my watercolor pouchette I fell in love. The paper quality is beautiful and I love the fact that it is recycled paper. Also 5 X 7 is just an adorable size for a painting so I could't be happier. I can't wait to start painting. <3 <3 <3-N

The paper is good. I bought it primarily because I thought it might be a good addition to a travel watercolor kit. If you paint fairly dry, it works great. I like to paint with a lot of water, and the envelope that makes up the support is essentially just cardboard so not waterproof. I added a small sheet of plexiglass which solved my problem. Not sure if I’ll order more paper or just cut my own.

This is a very high quality product, and a great item for a watercolorist on the go, I purchased this item for a trip as a gift and she loved it.It arrived with minor damage and I contacted UniverseArt to suggest better packaging. I didn’t request a replacement since the damage was minor. Terry responded within an hour and insisted on sending another pochette and told me to keep the damaged one. UniverseArt/Field Artist has outstanding customer service. I am now eyeing several other products from this company. Any of their products would be a great gift for your favorite artist. Reasonably priced too.

I'm a beginner so take my word for what it's worth but this watercolor paper seems to have quality comparative to much more expensive papers, but without the price. The packaging is not only beautiful but useful for traveling or displaying your art.

I like the quality of the pochette is very nice. The exterior surface is soft and almost suede to the touch. I fear, however, the elastic bands that secure it together may overstretch or lose their elasticity overtime. Today, though, they are fantastic along with the paper (all 25 sheets accounted for!) and the second paper pouch that looks like an interdepartmental mailer. The paper is thick but smooth and is wonderful for the job at hand.

Love this item its such good value and the paper is amazing...
