Great, neutral water taste
Our water here in East Devon tastes gross (I have no real problems elsewhere - in London for example). These filters totally solve this issue . They also Negate the need to continually purchase bottled water (which I did but hated doing for any number of reasons). Once the initial unit is paid for you're quids in if you're comparing replacement filter costs to bottles.. Additionally there are allsorts of other nasties out there that these filters improve or remove altogether.The 'candles' are extremely easy to fit.So very glad I found this system two years ago that works so well and is sourced from the UK. .

Replacement for Berkey filters, but is NOT compatible w Berkey fluoride filters.
While these are an ideal replacement for Berkey filters (maybe, lawsuit will be settled at some point) they will not match up with Berkey's fluoride filters. Unfortunate to lose fluoride filtering, but happy there is an alternative until Berkey can begin making theirs again.

Didn’t do anything for my water
As a gravity filter user previously using Berkey, this one didn’t do anything for my water. The fluoride one worked better but now I wasted money on these ones

Not nearly as good as the black Berkey filters which the EPA shut down
Still leaves some taste. Better than the cheapest filters out there but it could be so much better. I'm not satisfied
