I had some sceptisism about these expensive water bottles and thought of just getting a cheaper alternative, but I'm really glad I didn't! It's only when you get it in your hands that you feel it's heft. All of the other bottles I've had in the past have had some give in the walls when squeezing it gently. The yeti is rock solid and I have no doubt it'll take a hit without issue. The alpine yellow is a great colour. I might upgrade to a straw lid at some point but for now really happy with the included chug cap. Easy to keep clean and really quick to screw on and off.

The professional and amateur reviews are accurate. This is THE bottle. It does everything well. The chug cap is on point, it's easy to clean, relatively light, everything screams premium quality. You just about get what you pay for. But there is a reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars. It doesn't come with a bottle boot. You can buy them separately, there is a whole industry making boots for these and I highly, highly recommend it. A silicon boot stops it from sliding on a table, which is fantastic. It also protects the bottom. I got one and it already saved my bottle from a drop. So for the money you pay for this, I'd like it to come with a boot. I suppose it's fun customizing bottles with fancy boots. But at the very least Yeti should offer some boot options so you know for sure it fits. It's a chore tracking down compatible third party stuff.
