Best motherboard I've ever purchased!
I've been building machines since the Pentium days, but this mobo is amazing, OLED panels and plenty of features and unbelievable aesthetics. Worked right out of the box in my 7950x, ASUS Strix OC 4090, 64GB Dominator build. Have the M.2 expansion card installed and maxed out with (2) SN770, a 970 EVO and 980 Pro. BIOS is easy to maneuver and configure. Very visually pleasing to look at with the RGB case fans (SP/ML) also.Additionally can see all diagnostics on the OLED panels and if you have the Corsair Elite LCD or the kit, you can see even more info regarding systems temps and such.

Great eye candy pleasure to work on.
So far so good, love the board, has some bios issues that I can solve with an update but all in all pleasant to work on and great to game on and also just stare at great eye candy, note it is HEAVY like 13 pounds. But i have not had any issues i wasnt expecting and I am tjrilled to have it in my personal rig.

An Overkill Board for Overkill Aspirations
This board is awesome. Its weighty, comes with lots of optional parts, and tons of options. It's an outright luxury car of motherboards. That being said, it's overkill for gaming. Most of the features aren't realizable for just sitting down, and playing some games. The small percentage gains probably aren't worth the huge price tag. What is it useful for?Having a hand-me-down board to build a 10gig/wifi6 router in a couple generations.Building a 7-8 drive high-speed m.2 NAS at 10gb/s across all drives. An absolute bedrock board for troubleshooting issues throughout the AM5 generation.A reliable test-benching build to baseline other builds. If any of those are things that you might consider pulling-double duty with, this board becomes more of an investment than outright gaming or personal enjoyment vehicle. And that's where it really shines.

The Motherboard was DOA
Unfortunately this has pretty much be my experience with AM5. Ive had nothing but issues with RAM, CPU Cooling, Overall Stability and just straight up broken DOA parts. This being one of the most expensive boards on the market i was hoping this would fix my awful DDR5 experience. However i ended up just getting a straight dead board that didnt work out of the box. I thought it might be a power supply issue and when testing two different power supplies it turned out to not be the case. The board just didnt work at all and i ended up just returning it and am now back to researching newer cheaper boards hopefully that wont come broken. Don't always go most expensive because QC is the same.

1st unit was defective, 2nd works well
Most cases dont have the size to support an EATX with connections facing the edge of the board. It is even an issue in the premier flagship Asus Hyperion case. I had to remove the integrated gpu bracket in order to BARELY have room to plug in SATA cables for my ssd’s.Aside from that, the board has amazing aesthetics, the LCD display is awesome, and the build quality is impeccable (on my 2nd order). My first board from Amazon had defective PCIE x16 slots that would not seat any 30/40 series GPU’s. 2nd board was perfect.

Great Motherboard - Easy Installation
Incredible Motherboard. It handles difficult games, app, and services with ease. It out preforms the report times and FPS on every other Motherboard including GodLike. Worth every penny.

Fantastic albeit a bit finicky, slow shipping
First off: Regarding Code 42 "Memory Test" stalls at initial boot...try your display through HDMI.I spent 2 full days flashing different bios versions (Use the newest!), re-seating components, trying 1 RAM stick in a slot at a time for 1hr waits in case of "RAM training" delays, swapping display cables, bought another cpu and RAM locally, different PSU, no dedicated GPU, etc. Then saw a discord post about the 670e Hero needing integrated HDMI output to receive an initial pre-post message about the TPM, and you guessed it, using the HDMI out on my dedicated card resulted in seeing this message and getting to POST.Apparently someone somewhere thought it a good idea to require HDMI out for this message on a board lacking integrated HDMI.Once that mess was out of the way, the board has been fantastic. The RGB and ANIMEmatrix settings sometimes get reset at power off but once booted, the software syncs back up.This board has been very stable and fun to play with OC settings so far - still waiting to find a 4090 before connecting the custom loop and testing those sensors.Specific scenario: be aware that Lian Li AL120s and their controller may take some wrestling to get set up - needed to wipe the integrated Asus Armory Crate software, remove the lian li software and USB drivers in device manager, reboot, install lian li l-connect 3 and flash fan controller bios, then re-install Armory Crate (if you want it). Also very specific use note: the m.2 expansion card next to the RAM is too tall for a straight cooling line run with EKWB's distro plate in a pc-011 dxl. 7mm offset towards front of case JUST clears it.Overall happy with the board. As a career IT Tech I was losing my mind and thinking I'd need to RMA due to the code 42, huge kudos to whoever identified the HDMI out requirement on the 670e Hero!!Be aware that this is an enthusiast board - most people don't need it (including me); you can get similar performance for FAR less money. I *wanted* the onboard 10gb LAN, USB 4.0, and water headers...and this board offers them. The Matrix display is a gimmick but a fun creativity outlet. :)Sidenote: I ordered this to be fulfilled by Amazon.com - it took 13 days for them to actually ship it. Disappointed in such a long delay.5* for functionality once running3* for value (but at this price point you probably aren't concerned about that)Overall going to 4* it for Asus's lousy tech support on the 42 code, value, and Amazon's delayed shipping. For reference:RAM - 32gb G.Skill F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR (rock solid)CPU - 7950x, will be going to x3d model when avail2tb Samsung 980 pro m.2 for os, apps, general use1tb Samsung 990 pro m.2 for games

Best there is
So over the top, but such a nice board. Did bios flash. Back, one RAM stick. HDMI on board plugged in posted and booted first try with ddr5 6000, 7950x3d and 4090 suprim. Love the excessive amounts of pcie expansion. The animatrix is a bit underwhelming but hopefully your not spending 1k just for that.
