Can be used on almost any battery type with one or many cells in series. There is a ‘set’ buttonthe back that you activate while pressing then connecting power that lets you change the cell voltage from lead (p), lithium (l), or lithium-iron (f). After this is set, you push the front button to set the number of cells in series (eg. setting P-3 would be 3 12v batteries in series, do sets the meter for 36v with the meter calibrated for lead discharge).Click and hold the front to confirm your settings which takes you to the next menu. The next menu let’s you turn on or off 5 more options. You can tell if option 1-5 is toggled on or off depending on if the “fuel bar” is solid. (Eg. if settings 1,3,and 4 were toggled on, the first, third, and 4th bars would be lit). Option 1 is auto toggle between voltage and %charge. Option 2 will auto off after 10 sec to save battery. Option 3 turns off the backlight. Option 4 turns on a logo. Option 5 utilizes a different drain curve, I think ... meaning how it correlates voltage to percent remaining.This is way more than advertised, thus my 5 star rating.

I got this for my Scooter batteries to test myVoltage! Interstatee 12v, 50 Ah batteries. Not sure if the wires are long enough and the wire needs to wrap around the terminal; + & - .Haven't used this product yet.

Used these for years now on my ham radio batteries and mobile devices. They are accurate and long lasting. They draw very little current when used and the light up screen is nice at night.

Positive: It does read out ok, if you manage to connect the leads.Negative: Leads are to short and are almost impossible to connect to positive and negative terminals.There is no BACK plate on this gadget, exposing the little board inside, which in time will short out.I taped it up with tape to protect the board inside and see if I can jury rig the leads to make them more usable. For the negative reasons I would not recommend purchasing this item.

Accurate. As some one who needs this for access systems and fire alarm systems I'm very happy with the results.

Don’t waste your money go to eBay & buy something good. This isn’t it. .I Purchased this and it was stuck on 12 V when I needed a 36 V piece of junk
