Great Pair of headphones as a DJ. 🔥🔥
They do exactly what I need them to do via Bluetooth or plugged into a controller or a mixer. Sound quality is great for the price. I own a pair and been a fan Pioneer DJ HDJ-X7 for about 7 years now. Lost pairs and didn’t care to buy them over and be loyal to pioneer. The crossfade wireless is a bit more on the bass side when plugged in to a mixer or controller but still holds the form of the highs and mids. Though I would love more active noise control features. The buttons are not too fancy but durable. Did I mention the headphones itself are VERY DURABLE. Built like a tank lol. The app that comes along with it helps EQ some of the sound out to where it’s comfortable to your liking. I know in reviews it’s mentioned that the app has no real use but I think it’s cool that you don’t stay stuck to the default presets and have more of a preference to your ears. Also I do wish the ear cushions were a bit bigger but it’s not an overall uncomfortable fit. I will be purchasing the XL cushions and applying them to see if I get a better fit. I give it to V-MODA & Roland for making a solid pair of headphones for DJ’s that wants a duel option of Bluetooth or via 3mm Jack. Also the battery is not needed to use with cable. Have a feature that shuts off Bluetooth automatically when plugged in which is very handy for when I’m done with my sets and want to jump right back into my Spotify or iTunes playlist. I’ll be using these a bit more than my pioneers for now.

Great audiophile headphones
I enjoy the vmoda aesthetics and sound quality. The sound out of the box is subpar but can be improved through the app along with android sound settings. Now they sound crisp and clean. Like some of their other headphones, I'm unsure why the ear cushions are small. I recommend getting the XL cushions (sold separately...sigh) for that extra comfort if you find them discomforting, I just wished they included 2 sets of sizes in the first place given how much you pay. What I particularly enjoy about these is the battery life, they hold out for a long time before having to recharge them. Overall, these are great stylish headphones with great sound to back it up.

Please don’t buy these.
The sound is great and they never suffered any real damage (externally), but they have so many problems it’s impossible for me to recommend them to someone. Ive had them for about a year and since the first month since I’ve had them I had trouble using both aux and bluetooth, since when you go back from aux the sound on one of the sides will be missing (completely) and sometimes they’d disconnect for no reason at all. Now they wont even charge and I cant keep them on for more than a second. The app NEVER worked and I’ve had $120 pairs that have had a much crisper sound. Keep in mind you’re buying from a Japanese company as well so the service is gonna take a very long while if you're not from there. So will the shipping. 😕

Still happy with v-moda
This is my second pair of crossfade headphones. The first pair is still going strong after 10 years but I wanted to switch to wireless. The sound quality is exceptional. They can become a bit uncomfortable with prolonged use for gaming and binge watching. But it's nothing that I find unbearable. So far, another great quality pair of headphones from v-moda.

Look good, feels good... that's about it
I've had a wired pair of V-Moda headphones since ~2012. Still use them to this day, the sound quality is great. I have a cat now that loves to grab at the wired cable, so looking to get a pair of wireless headphones. My first try was the top of the line Sony product, which was...fine? Not what I was looking for though, so I thought it would be good to return to V-Moda since I already love my current headphones.Bought these, and they look and feel exceptionally good as I have come to expect from this company. Unfortunately, the quality of sound was shockingly bad. It was tinny, almost muffled, and no amount of EQ changes could really fix it. To make sure I wasn't crazy or picky, I had friends try them out. All of them had a similar stank face within 3 seconds of listening to something. I get a much better sound quality out of wireless earbuds like Apple AirPods, *even Raycons*....Obviously there will always be a loss in quality when comparing wired to wireless, as Bluetooth technology still needs to progress, but these are just plain unusable for anyone that wants a premium (or even standard if we're being honest) listening experience. I still LOVE my wired V-Modas, but if this is indicative of where the company has taken their quality, I may have to hope and pray my current pair lasts another 10-15 years

Very good, but might want to read this
The quality is very good, I mean... There really is no complaint, it sounds wonderful. There is no sound canceling however, but the suction of the cups provides a good sense of control. They are very nice. But... my 70$ soundcore headphones are honestly the same sound quality... which leads me to suspect that most of this 300$ is in the aesthetic of the headphones. They look nice don't they? I mean, that's why your reading reviews on this product right? Cus you saw some cool headphones? Well, I mean, if you're willing to pay an extra 200$ for an aesthetic pair, go for it! I did myself... but I'm on my way to returning them right now. Like I said. The sound quality of these V MODA 3 are indistinguishable from my Soundcore 70$ headphones. AND the soundcore has noise canceling and these do not. But hey. The V MODA 3 looks wayyy cooler than the the default normal black soundcore headphones. Also bare in mind, the depth of the cups is quite shallow, and after a few hrs of usage, you will probably begin to feel the hard disc behind the fabric on the inside of the cups. So it might be uncomfortable. My soundcore are comftorable and don't have that problem.Overall, they are great quality and if they're your style, and you've got the budget. Then try em out. You can always return them if you change your mind. (Coming back to this review a few months later, to say... I am not a sponsor or anything for souncore, I am still using my same pair of soundcore headphones. It's been over a year and they've worked great after falls, busts etc. Not a single issue yet.)
