This a a great monitor for office work
I use this monitor for office work, working from home, I liked it so much I bought a second and replaced 2 27" monitors and got a massive increase in display real estate. Picture quality is great and compared to my old 14 year old monitors these run cool so I would think these will be a lot more energy efficient. They come with monitor arms that connect to the edge of your desk and are a massive improvement on normal stands. Input is good with display port, usb c display port, and 2 hdmi, they have build in speakers that provide good sound. They have a number of features that I don't use like picture by picture and a 2 port kvm, I have an external 4 x 2 kvm so I can drive my 2 monitors from 4 sources and it works fine with both the picture and sound, so reducing the number of cables required.

Programmer, changed my productivity positively
At it's simplest, this is the same as having 2x 2560/1440 displays stacked above each other. Stand is exceptionally strong and positional. I've ran this all year, and am going to buy a second.* Screen quality is great (was using 2* benq photo editing monitor previously)* Highly positional, way less neck and shoulder pain.* Resolution changes workflow - I can see 2880px of any page as i want, great for ui work.* If windows, couple with power tools to get fast screen zones to drop panes in.I cannot stress the amount of display real estate this gives, honestly just one of these is equivalent in usable space to a triple monitor setup, because of the vertical aspect, you can just have much nicer shaped frames, see 2* as much code at once, 300+ lines of terminal if you need it, just so good.

Perfect Monitor for MacBooks – Highly Recommended
I’m absolutely thrilled with the LG Ergo Dual Monitor! It’s the perfect companion for my MacBook. The ergonomic stand allows for easy adjustment, whether I want to raise the monitors for better posture or rotate them for different tasks. The design is sleek and modern, complementing my MacBook setup beautifully. The display quality is stunning—vibrant colors and crisp resolution make working, browsing, and streaming a pleasure. Connecting the MacBook to the monitors was a breeze, and I love how versatile the setup is with the dual screen functionality. If you’re looking for a monitor that enhances your workspace while offering great performance, this is definitely the one. Highly recommended for MacBook users!

Best second monitor in my opinion
LG's DualUp Monitor is a great for productivity. The functionality of two monitors in one display, it has loads of inputs and the ergo arm is the best I have used hands down.I would recommend this as the perfect second monitor. I have used the dual input function extensively and the usb c power delivery is a very nice feature.

Amazing for coding and long/wide view.
This is amazing. I use dual monitor setup with one as landscape and other one as potrait. While using my older 23 inch as portrait, the wider angle wasn't good. And thus yeah, I realised I need to buy LG dual up for me. I just attached a sample comparison of line of code with same 150% of scale and layout, and can clearly see the difference. It's amazing. One thing, though we can watch video and it's good, this monitor is not meant for view of 16:4 aspect ratio. Yes, we can split the monitor in two parts of 21 inch monitor which gives the 16:4 ratio but not as full screen in case someone looking for it.

Dead after a few months
Screen flckering and other issues have made this a pain to live with - currently in for repair after the backlight has started flickering really badly. Awesome when it works for coding and writing.

Excellent monitor
For info, as I could not work this out in advance of purchase, it can take a single input and run the whole screen at full resolution from that one input. I didn't know if I needed two display outputs from a single device to run the two separate halves as a single display. You don't.If you have two inputs from two devices you can plug both in and go into the monitor options for split display mode.I'm a coder by trade who uses Visual Studio Pro all day. This is an excellent monitor for anyone doing the same style of work.

It’s too high to be a productivity monitor
I bought this monitor believing it would be ‘the’ productivity powerhouse of a monitor, but the reality is that even though you can essentially have two programmes (or even operating systems) sat on top of each other, the monitor is so high that the top part of the screen requires you to move your head up way to much to make it comfortable. If you need to use the top of the screen (especially with Mac’s) a lot, this makes using the monitor uncomfortable. What happens is you put programmes you want to use in the bottom half of the screen which defeats the point. I wanted to love it, and tried it for a month but it had to go back. Giving it 5 stars because the monitor was great but not good for general office work/desktop publishing. It will be great for a very small number of people like coders.
