I purchased these to use for a project with my students involving pony beads. You can put the needle through the bead, but it takes some effort. The eye is wider than the inside of the bead, but is slightly flexibile. I have 5 stars because the product works, just isn't what I am looking for.

The product was great, however the plastic needle eyes were too big to fit through a 7 count mesh canvas.

I teach 1st to 4th how to hand stitching. These needles are a great for beginners and kids were able to hand stitch and hurting themselves.

Great value for my classroom.

I bought these for my middle school art students when we worked on a weaving assignment. These needles were perfect! Sturdy, brightly colored and the correct size for weaving with yard on cardboard looms. My students LOVED the project!

These needles have an oval eye- not too round and not too narrow. Easy to thread, not too wide for most projects. Love them! Now I don't run out of needles, no matter how many I leave in almost-finished projects

These plastic needles work great for stringing Cheerios (we used the Multigrain variety) or Froot Loops onto embroidery floss or unflavored dental floss. We used them for a party where kids ranged from 3 to 10 yrs old. Even the youngest of the kids were able to thread items onto the string by themselves. Some of the older kids even helped thread and tie the string onto the needles for the younger kids. Almost all of the cereal pieces fit, with very few whose holes were too small to go past the eye of the needle. Though on quite a few it was a tight fit, but still worked fine.The colors are nice and bright. Quality is very good, with no breakages so far. The size and sturdiness of the needles is consistent from needle to needle.There were exactly 100 in the pack. I counted. My pack was mostly evenly distributed between each of the five colors give or take about 5.One thing to note is that they WILL NOT work for popcorn stringing. They are able to stab through, but since the needles are so large they end up breaking the popcorn pieces in half.

Exactly what I had hoped for. Sturdy, nice colours and packaged well.
