Two keys were supplied, but not the LED light key. The bracket for mounting to the bike is a right pain in the butt. The instructions are rubbish, so I had to go to a YouTube video to get it explained properly. Seems a well-made lock, so for £80 I hope my bike doesn't get nicked. I went to fit the bracket this morning, and it doesn't fit my bike. I have a Giant Talon XL bike with 29-inch wheels, and there is no way to fit this bracket and have the lock fit, anywhere on the frame. I wish I'd gone for the smaller version, but this size was recommended by a YouTube channel that won't accept comments, so I can't warn people about this. This would be more suitable for a racing bike, not a mountain bike. So I'll have to carry it in my rucksack.

Lock is great but support breaks

Das gute Stück soll mein Pedelec vor unbefugten Fingern schützen, zusätzlich zu einem Faltschloss.Dass das Schloss klemmt kann ich nicht sagen, es lässt sich sehr gut auf- & zu schliessen, man muss halt darauf achten dass der Schlüssel komplett herum gedreht ist und die beiden Bügel auch komplett im Schloss sitzen. Es wiegt einiges, aber es macht einen durchweg guten und sicheren Eindruck und ich vermute und hoffe, dass in Kombination mit einem anderen Schloss, sich Langfinger daran die Zähne ausbeissen.

After doing some research I decided to purchase this lock for my bike.Maybe not the latest or safest, but for the money, it’s seems to be a solid choice.I hope never will be tested how secure it is and what can resist.However, what I am definitely disappointed with is the price of a second lock if you want to be keyed alike and the difficulty sourcing it.

Nachdem mir im Fachgeschäft davon abgeraten wurde, ein Faltschloss zu verwenden, habe ich mich für dieses solide Bügelschloss entschieden. Nachdem ich erst die Hoffnung hatte, dass die Eazy KF Halterung bei mir noch irgendwie passen könnte (welche letztlich auch aufgrund der Rahmenform enttäuscht wurde), musste ich auf diese andere SH B Version ausweichen. Meine Befürchtungen wurden nach Eintreffen leider teilweise bestätigt.1. Die Halterung ist im Vergleich echt groß. "Unauffällige" Platzierung am Rahmen somit kaum möglich.2. Alles außer den Schrauben und Befestigungsbändern ist quasi aus "weichem" Plastik - bin gespannt, wie sich das auf lange Zeit schlägt.3. Der Öffnungsmechanismus ist noch einmal mit einem Hebel "gesichert" (beim Eazy KF dreht man das Schloss einfach aus der Halterung). Dieser Hebel macht einen etwas klapprigen Eindruck. Es ist jetzt Spekulation, aber ich denke, wenn etwas kaputt geht, dann ist dies die erste Stelle.Gut, die Halterung kann man bei bedarf bestimmt nachbestellen. Wichtig ist das Schloss und das scheint top zu sein. Es ist quasi voll mit Gummi ummantelt, Schäden am Rad somit so gut wie auszuschließen. Die 30cm Version passte bei mir nicht mehr in den Rahmen. Mit der Halterung ließ es sich aber seitwärts so neben dem Hinterrad platzieren, dass es beim Fahren nicht stört.Insgesamt los qualitativ hochwertig, wie man es von ABUS erwarten würde, mit leichter Einschränkung wegen der Halterung.
