I was able to make a big birthday party celebration that accommodated many accessories and figures. Kids aged 3-10 loved playing with it while it was displayed! A few things to note: it is easy to store the house flat. The car stores in the carport and that also fits alongside the flat house. The angles on the left facing side make half of the rooms in this house smaller than the RR stackable homes. The carport adds an extra outdoor room, plus the car is great for Critter families. It’s adorable and offers a lot of different opportunities for play with any of the Calico Critters families and furniture.

I love the colors, the intricate details, and especially the carport! Exactly the same as the vintage Carport home with the red roof. If you are deciding between this and the comparably-sized Red Rood Country Home, here are my thoughts: For children, if you plan on getting one main house for their critters, the RR Country Home is expandable/connectible to other Red Roof series homes, if they like to combine/stack the homes, and the RR Home seems a tad more durable with thicker plastic and more secure railings. This carport is NOT connectible to the Cozy Cottage or other Calico Critter buildings so keep that in mind. BUT if that's not an issue, the Carport Home is great because it has a "garage" whereas the RR Country Home does not. Both homes are VERY versatile in how they can be configured (multiple ways to position the home). Both are compatible with the ceiling lights, and both have 2 floorplates. This carport is an excellent value considering you get the car, figure, and kitchen. However, the RR Country Home Gift Set is also an excellent and comes with slightly better accessories in my opinion. The kitchen in the Carport Home is a re-color of the new Green kitchen, which IMO is cheaper and less detailed than earlier kitchens. The car it includes is the same as the recent Red Convertible except in Green, and in this set the car does NOT come with the stroller and other accessories you get when you buy the red car by itself. The "Snow Rabbit" mother figure that comes with the Carport is FAR more unique than the RR Home "standard" Hopscotch mother. Both homes are great, it just depends on your preferences for connectibility and whether the garage is an important feature for you. Very happy with this dollhouse!!

This is a great addition to our Calico Critter town. It can be arranged in multiple configurations and fits right in for the new family which moved in. All of the parts are quality made and sturdy. This is a perfect item for anyone with Calico Critters needing a new home.

Cute set and good value, I love the details in this line of toys and the gift sets are usually the best value.
