It works and uses very little electricity
I've been using this low wattage switch for over a year and it just works. No issues at all with the SFP+ sockets.

Pretty solid
Pretty good so far. Plug and play, uses 4w on my powermeter (2x10gbps, 2x1gpbs), produces no noise because no fan and (the exterior) never got warm enough for me to think it was overheating, would stay below body temperature. Only had one issue: one of my computers (connect-x3) hung and the switch was power cycling forever while that computer was still hung and connected. This has only happened once and I don't know which started the issue, but the switch wouldn't stop resetting while the computer was in the broken state (which affected other machines). Resetting the computer fixed it and haven't replicated the issue. In a home environment this isn't an issue, but might consider this if you have remote computers you needed to manage.

After using other brands, this one WORKS
To start, I'll say I'm just glad it works as advertised. I tried a Zyxel XGS1250-12 and a cheap knockoff no-name brand from Amazon. There's no frills with this switch, just plug and play. I get full bandwidth over the SFP+ from my router (Asus RT-AX89X) with my PC connected to one of the 4 2.5gbps ports. This is only day 1 but I'm just pleased that it works. This switch handles ALL my internet traffic except the wifi from the main router. My node/access point wifi units are plugged into this switch to eliminate any unnecessary switching duties from my router (the only cable plugged into my main router is the SFP+) . I will update this review if anything changes.

Solid basic switch
Put this switch in place to bring 2.5gbps ports to my core switch without wasting 10gbps SFP+ ports on my more expensive switch. Works great. Haven't tried an LACP link with the 10gbps ports because I am pretty sure this switch doesn't support it. Not a huge problem... if I ever need it I'd buy a second of this switch and set up NIC teaming/failover on my client systems.

Great switch for the price!
It works very well, and I am getting 10GbE in cat5E infrastructure. I bought 3 of these. I am not giving 5 stars because it is not allowing for my Orbi Mesh to work in Ethernet backhaul. I had to wire directly from the router, what is not ideal. However, it is still a great product for my other infrastructure.

Dead on Arrival – Completely Unacceptable
I purchased this QNAP switch expecting dependable, professional-grade hardware. Unfortunately, it arrived broken out of the box. The unit does power on, but that’s where functionality ends. All the network port lights stay constantly blinking and never stabilize, making the switch completely unusable. I spent far too much time troubleshooting, checking cables, power sources, and different setups, before concluding that the device was defective from the start. No configuration is possible, and the switch never reaches a normal operational state. For a product at this price point, this is unacceptable. Quality control clearly failed, and now I’m forced to deal with returns and delays instead of deploying the equipment as planned. Very disappointing experience. Based on this purchase, I cannot recommend this QNAP switch.

Fast 9+ Gbps throughput with the 10GbE ports
I purchased one switch and now have a second on the way. I've had no problem getting 9+ Gbps throughput with the 10GbE ports. And over 2.2Gbps throughput from the 2.5GbE ports. And the switch does not get hot. It has been well worth the price. I've done multiple 500GB+ transfers between the 10GbE ports and the 2.5GbE ports and have had no issues. Transferring from a PC connected to one 10GbE port and two servers connected to two of the 2.5GbE ports. Transfers have been consistently fast and smooth with the very large 500+GB of data. With file sizes over 70GB each. EDIT: I've been using two of these for five months now, and I have had no issues with them. I am currently using both switches inline. With a 10GbE uplink on one switch. And then the other 10gbE port going to the second switch. I then have my Plex UHD machine connected to a 10GbE port, on the second switch. And the eight, 2.5GbE ports are connected to eight of my unRAID setups.
