I have known ice cubes last longer
Absolutely a waste of money, yes they get cold, because they have been in the freezer 🙄 they stay cold long enough to get comfortable in your chair again then the impact of the cold stops as the pack heats up straight away. For the life of me I don't understand how these have got nearly 5 stars . Don't waste your money.

Great gel packs
Found the fantastic Velcro wrap for these gel packs before my second total total knee replacement (TKA). If you’ve ever heard of the pain associated with a TKA, ice—compression—and elevation are crucial for recovery.The Velcro wrap extremely easy to use, and accommodates 3 gel packs—two on top, and one underneath. These gel packs are durable, don’t leak, seem to harden faster in the freezer, and keep their coldness longer ( remember to wrap a towel on top for insulation.

Keep it cold, or warm
Fits nicely into Vive shoulder ice wrap. Great for a twenty minute cool down of inflamed muscles.

They fit the pockets on my new knee brace.
My brace holds three of these snugly against my knee, giving me a good chill. When they wrinkle they feel somewhat poky but in the brace I don't notice it. Haven't tried microwaving yet. Kind of heavy, need to pull hard on the straps to keep the thing from sliding down, but better than picnic coolers in a loose towel.
