SAFAVIEH2'7"x5' Red & Multi Persian Rug - Non-Shedding, Easy Care

Unlike everyone else, I bought the light blue/black, 2.7x5, to cover a worn looking area on my berber carpet. It’s in a room with 4 other area rugs, none of them match, but are similar in style, they all look great together, and work well with my eclectic decor. The rug came neatly rolled in thick, protective plastic, and flattened out fast, with a few heavy books on the corners overnight - and the books probably weren’t even necessary. No chemical odor that I could detect. It is surprisingly PLUSH compared to some other area rugs I have by the same manufacturer. Feels great to walk on! I have it in a high traffic area, so that will be a true test to see how it holds up long term.Since I have it over my wall to wall carpet, it stays put, with no need for a pad underneath. It feels very cozy underfoot. My cat has been laying on it since I put it down!The description says “light” blue, but I wouldn’t call it light. The color is a little deeper/darker in person, compared to the online photos, but I’m happy with it. I was worried it would be more of a true blue, or too pale of a blue, but it isn’t. It’s a warm grayish blue, with a touch of green. Maybe you could call it a muted peacock blue, or Prussian blue, or the blue green color of the ocean in the North Atlantic, as you are getting close to land. Mine does NOT have those patches of fake distressing, which I’m very happy about. The design/pattern is perfect, some reviews said their design was uneven, edges wider on one side or something like that….the design on mine is fine.Will anyone be fooled into thinking it’s a real Persian rug? Hell no - but it’s really soft and really pretty. I could see it working in a lot of different decors. Next time I’m in need for a larger area rug, I would definitely consider this Safavieh Vintage Hamadan. Being so thick, plush, and cozy, it would be a great rug for a living room or bedroom. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a beautiful, soft, affordable rug!Edit 12/24 - bought the 9 x 12 size as a gift for my mom. Came quickly, folded, not rolled, with a few wrinkles, but everything flattened out quickly. It is very beautiful and looks much more expensive than it was. we have it in a concrete floor, and i think it is soft enough for my mom’s needs that no padding will be necessary. It still has a slight chemical odor, but i am sure that will go away. My mom really loves it!

We love this runner. It’s not one of those super thin decorative rugs with a design printed on it. It’s very plush and super comfortable to walk on. The colors look amazing and the rug is just overall, really gorgeous. It most definitely took our hallway makeover to the next level.

I love the vibrancy of this rug. Originally, I ordered this for our entryway but the size was not quite right (for my lack of measuring.) I ordered this in the 4x4 square. Instead, I added the rug to the center of our laundry room. I do wish it was a tad larger (fault of my own) but I love the pop of color it adds that my bare laundry room was lacking (we are still finishing this room). The rug does not really need a pad but if you wanted to add something for comfort, I’d say add a thin one underneath. I am going to add sticky rug holders on all four corners so that it will be guaranteed to stay put. It’s not a flimsy rug though so I don’t foresee too many issues of it moving around without a pad.My favorite part about the rug is the color and pattern. It’s definitely a vibrant red with blacks & navy colors mixed in. I have black counters & black windows in here so I like the look. I think it would mix well with a lot of different decor styles. I took my review photos immediately after unwrapping it, so the edges are not flat yet but once I add the sticker corner pieces it will be perfect.

It’s Legit, go for it!! I took a chance and I’m so glad. It’s rich in color, not too thin like most of the rugs now that are “washable”. I know I can rely on Savifeh so I keep going back. SO glad I did!

This rug is a great option for anyone with Persian rug taste but not a Persian rug budget. The colors are very vibrant and the rug is a lot more plush than I expected. I was considering getting a rug pad to put underneath because I expected a rug at this price point to be on the thinner side but I was pleasantly surprised that no rug pad is needed. It feels very soft under my feet. And it surprisingly flattened out almost immediately after unrolling it. The pattern is very appealing, but if you look very closely it does look more pixelated than a higher end rug would look, but that’s ok. I didn’t expect perfection for $100. There’s also a spot near the edge where the design goes a little wonky but it’s not super noticeable unless you’re really staring at it. I’ve only had this rug for less than a day so I can’t speak to its longevity but it seems pretty sturdy. I got this rug to replace a 3 year old high-pile black shag rug that had gotten matted down and collected every last speck of dust and debris that got tracked on to it. Never again will I get a rug like that. I’m happy to have this colorful, easy to clean vintage-looking rug in its place!

I have bought the round, 4×6, and a 12 ft runner all in this print. I would love real Persian Antique rugs, but spending thousands on old rugs was not in my budget for my remodel..nor are they easy to find due to popularity right now. I highly recommend these rugs. They are very well made (very thick quality), they have the Persian rug look, and are a great value. This brand is great and have had fast shipping on all 3 rugs with no issues. The colors are very vibrant and makes my home look very pretty.
