Great earbuds
I bought 2 Jabra 5T connect , one was faulty with hissing noise from left earbud, fully refunded by Amazon-customer service was great. Other pair works as expected, both in quite and noisy environments.App is great for customisation. Connectivity with laptop not always automatic, however once connected works fine. Fit/size is great.

Really impressed with the earbuds, small niggles though
I've been a Jabra fan for a while, having had the Elite 75t for several years with no issues.I purchased the connect 5t to be able to use both buds in singular mode, allowing me to swap from right to left bud during long calls, which was the only fault I had with the 75t. This feature alone is worth swapping the earbuds in spite of any minor niggles I had.The wireless charging on the 5t is fantastic and a bonus I was not initially looking for.My only gripe with the connect 5t is the earbud fit is slightly larger than the 75t, and does not slide into the ear as easily. TBF, this is a small niggle, not a big problem.I primarily use the buds on public transport for personal listening, or for calls at work.Jabra buds have always been fantastic for calls, and the 5t's do not disappoint. Call quality has been better with the 5t's than the 75t's.With the 75t's I had an issue with multipoint connections, when terminating 1 call to go immediately onto another, the buds would sometimes go into mute mode without any way to unmute. I worked around this by docking the buds after each call and re-connecting on joining the new call. With the connect 5t I have not encountered this problem at all.On music listening (remember, public transport), I noticed the ANC is not as good on the 5t's as it was on the 75t's as bus and train noises which previously were excluded are now heard, though somewhat muted. ANC on 75t is a software addition (I know this as I had the 75t with no ANC initially and updated firmware to get this). AFAIK, ANC on later Jabra models (85t onwards) was always hardware, so I'd have expected that to work better. Not a big issue for me, I rarely use ANC as I'm more interested in battery life. YMMV though. Also when listening to music with earbuds in 'off' mode (non-hearthrough and non-ANC), more noise gets through than on the 75t. This _may_ be due to the earbud fit, and not enough of a distraction to bother me. Again YMMV.Regarding battery life, all I can say is I've had no issue so farBTW, do NOT use the silicon from other earbuds. I was passing the 75t's on, so rather than disinfect the earbud silicons, I thought I'd keep the silicon from the 75t's for the new buds and give the earbud fittings from the new earbuds. 1. the 75t silicon came off the 5t's in my ear, needing a tweezer extraction. 2. the 5t silicons will not fit those from the 75t.I'm not sure if this is across the board, silicon fittings are specific to make/model of buds, or it's just the particular buds here, maybe 75t connector is particularly large, or 5t's is particularly small!

great sound quality
had some issues setting these up correctly as to set the customised levels you have to use the app on a phone but my primary use is PC. after i got through that all worked well and pairs with 2 devices simultaneously. would recommend

Partially effective - the charging cables do not work
The ear buds work well. The microphones in the ear piece work well for MS Teams. The charging cable and the charging disc do not work at all. I have purchased my own cables so that I can charge these earbuds. I was not expecting this additional cost.

GOOD earbuds but for me NOT worth the price tag
As I review this, I would like you to carry 2 things in your mind.Firstly, it's the way that expectations colour our views. If we sit down to watch the latest acclaimed movie our eye is all the more critical, right? It's just the opposite of a movie that's been savaged by the critics. Our bar is set much lower and we are all the more forgiving and willing to be generous. And so it is with everything and so it is with this. The high price tag brings with it expectations.Secondly, I'm no audiophile but instead I'm a "I know what I like" kinda guy. If I'm drinking a wine or coffee I don't get the earthy notes and hints of berries harvested in the moonlight. I can tell you it's delicious. I can't tell you that this work of art brings to mind the impressionist masters blended with post modernist sensibilities evoking a sense of existential dread and baked beans. Oh no. It looks like splashes of paint. I like it though. I will say that I have reviewed many sets of headphones from cheap to pretty pricey ( although nowhere near this expensive ) and I can bring that experience to the review. What's that? Get on with it?OK. On to the review!!!UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONFirst impressions are high. Everything is packaged neatly and oozes premium. The case impressed me right away with its sleek looks in matt grey - subtly sporting the Jabra logo. There is a small led that lights ( red, amber, green ) to indicate the charge left when you open the case. The case is impressively small, portable, and light weight. Cracking open the case reveals the earbuds. The design aesthetic carries through here. Although they do look sleek they don't look sexy. I've had better looking headphones. I do appreciate they have actual physical buttons though.USAGEMy first issue. Every single set of earbuds and headphones I have ever had connectedinstantly without issue right out of the box. Not here. I had to set the earbuds to pair mode and then connect them. It's not a big big deal but really it shouldn't happen. I couldn't get them to connect to my Chromebook at all. I've never had an issue before and if my £20 earbuds can do it then these most certainly should be able to.The physical buttons are great! Such a win! I find touch controls on earbuds really annoying and fiddly. Here there's no searching and fumbling. The large buttons click with certainty. Navigation using the buttons is easy and logical.HOW DO THEY SOUND?Like I said, I'm no audiophile. They sound... OK. I find the volume on these too low. One of the selling points with these is the ANC noise cancellation. However, because the volume is low, I can still hear everything around me. I like my earbuds/headphones to be loud. I want to drown out the world and be immersed in my music. I want these to be louder.Music sounds OK. The bass is pretty good. The sound is crisp and clear but nothing wows me. I've had better sound from much cheaper and at this point I need to be wowed. I need to justify that hefty price tag.Another feature of these headphones is the super clear call quality. There are six microphones in these headphones. Again, it was good but was it really any better than other earbuds? No.COMPARISONSAs I said, expectations... The high price tag here leads me to be critical of these, maybe in a way I would not otherwise be, and examine closely every aspect. I can't help compare them to my favourite set of earbuds which costs £30. In my opinion the £30 are better, to me, in every way. They look sleek and sexy. The sound I get from them is loud ( drowning out the world ) and the bass is thumping deep. The case on my £30 earbuds is a little larger and chunkier but not that much more. It does feature a cool looking display with the exact numerical percentage of charge left which these Jabra ones do not. I get they probably wanted to go for a smaller form factor though but my £30 earbuds just look way cooler and give me a much better idea of just how much charge is left in the case. If the Jabra earbuds case is showing red what does that mean exactly? 30 percent? 10 percent? 5 percent? 40 percent? What? For this amount of money I expected a display. The call quality on my favourite set of £30 is great. I can clearly hear every single thing. I've talked on it many times and because they are loud outside sound doesn't bother me so much. Maybe the Jabra ones are a bit clearer but really not enough to make any real difference and because they don't sound as loud I much prefer the cheaper earbuds. My much cheaper set of earbuds give me 6 hours of power and 44 hours in the case. These give me 9 hours and only 28 hours in the case. The Jabra earbuds win out here although you'll note the smaller case does give you less charge in your case. Not really a big deal though.CONCLUSIONI just can't get past the fact that these are £169 and don't seem to offer anything better than my £30! These are FIVE times more expensive. Are these good? YES. Are they cool looking? YES. Do they produce a good sound? YES but are they better than my £30 earbuds or others I have owned? I would say no. As I said, I'm no audiophile. Maybe I'm missing something here. I only know what I like. I can only tell you how they compare to a much cheaper set of earbuds. If you gave me a choice? If I can only choose one set of earbuds? I would choose my £30 every time.
