HI-REEKE F-14 Jet Fighter Plane Tomcat Military Building Set for Adult, Army Model Jet Fighter Plane 1:34-1600 PCS

Wow! This is a really neat building set for military fans or just those who enjoy building military craft. The finished product was incredible. Instructions were good and easy to follow. All the pieces went together well. No problems building it. It was greatly enjoyed.

I liked to idea that every step was packaged separately, this made following the directions very simple. The jet is big and will take up some space but the look is awesome! The quality of these block matches up with the others. I look forward to getting others to build. Kids and adults should have fun with this.

After trying to put together the F-15 we gave up after 3 tries, it fell apart every time we attached the wings we started on the F-14. By page 4 of the instructions we were missing 6 2x2 squares and 2 other step like pieces that we robbed from bag 2. We used all the 2x2s from bag 2 and now have to rob from bag 3.I was really hoping these would be acceptable but both the F-14 Tomcat and F-15 were abysmal failures.

We love building kits and this one is no exception - great quality, intricate enough build to keep an adult occupied and entertained for a couple of hours, and the quality of the bricks it really good - pretty much on-par with LEGO and Mega Construx at a fraction of the price. The end result is a lovely F-14 Tomcat to display. I would imagine kids over 8 should have no problem with this, but younger kids might need a parent or other adult to lend a hand. Highly recommended!

My 8 year old put this jet together all by his self and loved every minute of it. He was very did appointed that on one if the wings on the back did not have all the pieces.

The idea is great, but the execution on this one is lacking. The instructions can be a bit difficult to read at times, and (like many others who have reviewed this) there were some small parts missing. I was able to substitute them from my Lego collection. There seems to be a lot of overengineering on this one. The overall Tomcat aesthetic could have been executed with fewer parts. Visually, the wings (in swept-back configuration) don't look like they do on a 'real' Tomcat. Experienced brick-builders can make custom modifications to make the finished product look more realistic, but you'll have to add your own parts to it. The stickers feel like they're going to start peeling away from the model within the month, but for the moment they look great.If you're giving this as a gift, I'm sure the recipient will enjoy it if they have the time and patience required to build it. There are other sets out there, from manufacturers like Cobi, that will better fulfill your need for speed. However, there are over a thousand good parts in here that are sure to add to anyone's collection.

Absolutely loved this jet ever since I first saw it in Top Gun. I've always wanted to build it in Lego and never got the chance to, but i finally am able to through these building blocks.As for the actual set itself I love the build design - there's just so much little detail. the quality control is fantastic - The pieces came in separated bags with the instructional booklet telling you when to use each number bag which is the very awesome. I did not find any broken missing or misshapen pieces.my only con would be the stickers aren't the greatest and go across several pieces so disassembling it will cost you the stickers.I took my time with this and it took about 2 days to complete. I was not in a rush so I would say most people would probably finish it up and about 2 to 3 hours. I love the jet and i love this take on it.

I brought this Lego set for myself and I loved it the pieces went together great and they were firm but as I put the wings on they were very unstable and flimsy so I thought I did something wrong but I didn’t so I kept on build it and once I finished it, it looked great but the wings weren't most stable but in other words it was perfect and it was the correct size they specified and fit in the spot I wanted it in
