You haven't had coffee until you have had this coffee
I love my coffee, and there is nothing I hate more than a bad cup of coffee. I won't even allow my wife to make me a coffee as she just can't make a coffee to my high standards. So when I buy coffee I expect the coffee top be of the highest standard, and the price doesn't come into it.Your typical high street brands are fine, but when you want quality you have to pay that little bit more. Something that this brand of coffee is more than justified.The coffee comes in a beautifully packaged ziplock foil bag, ( although I would suggest that you decant the coffee into a proper airtight container, just to ensure that you don't lose any of the flavour notes, although having said that this coffee is so satisfying you will probably devour it very quickly) The subtle yet highly effective branding is the first indication that this is a premium product.The second indication of the quality of the product hits you as soon as you open the bag. The intense, rich and sumptuous aroma of coffee has to be smelled to be believed. It is so much more coffee like than any brand that you can purchase in the supermarket. Most other ground coffee looks like a black powder, whereas this one actually looks as though you have ground it yourself, with all of the colour variations of the coffee bean evident.I prefer to make my coffee by the drip method with a stainless steel filter, feeding into a glass cup. How much of the coffee you use will obviously depend on your own personal taste, I like my coffee strong and by half filling the filter I can get a coffee that just makes me go weak at the knee.The resultant coffee is rich, yet smooth with a flavour spectrum that is complex without being confusing. This one has been infused with caramel, which gives the coffee a smooth sweet flavour that cleverly doesn't take away from the taste of a great coffee. This coffee is so good it may very become my coffee of choice.I received this coffee at a discounted price for a fair and honest review
