Great for medical students
Would strongly recommend this book for medical students on placement. Covers most of the information you need to know relating to core conditions. The actual quality of the book is great, it's flexibound so you can put it in your full bag and it won't get damaged. It's small, but not so small you can't read the text.

Let's be real. Only book you need for your specialties. If you know everything in this book (OHCS) and Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine (OHCM)then you will ace every single clinical paper in any UK medical schools. These 2 books cover EVERYTHING.From year 3 onward, just summarize every single page of OHCM and OHCS books, and then you use that summary notes when you take your exams and the big FINALs in year 5.

A must have for your clinical rotations!
Brilliant book for your rotations. Doesn’t have everything you need, but as a quick reference and a little preparation, it does a fantastic job!

A great companion to Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine
This is a great companion to another book "Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine". I advise you to check carefully the content of this book is some or any chapters apply to your profession. If only one chapter applies to your profession (say psychiatry), you still need to buy the whole book. Some elements can be found in both books, for example Eponymous syndromes. Because the authors are different, the text is very different. Sometimes I have problems which book to use and/or read first. Can be a bit confusing.

Handy reference for medical students
Quite clearly explained the contents but u still need to do more search for deeper understanding. As regular reference this is quite a handful
