These are pretty cool. takes maybe 20 min in between noise, so it is very hard to find. Love it.

Placed this in my coworker’s ceiling tile. He went straight up CSI trying to figure out what it was. He bought a stopwatch to time the intervals so he could listen for it and hopefully did it next time it went off. I looked forward to hearing his frustration every day until he decided it was an emergency lite. Once he landed on that, I changed the sound and another round of searching took place. I have to admit, I may get written up once he finds it but it’s worth it

Its small so it is extremely easy to hide and hard to find. Beep sounds like a fire alarm with a low battery beep. Cricket doesnt sound anything like a cricket. You can not adjust volume so i would suggest putting it in a drawer or something to muffle it a little bit. All in all its worth the little it costs to annoy someone with the beep i think.

These are great quality and a lot of fun to play with. I like that there are several sounds to choose from. They are small enough and loud enough to be placed somewhere inconspicuously. We’ve turned it into a game. When you find it in your office, you have to try to hide it in someone else’s office without being caught.

Ordered the 2 pack. One works well, the other was damaged beyond repair during shipping. I would say this is Amazon's fault though. It came in a fairly large box (6x6x8) with just some crumpled craft paper in it.Despite what other reviews have said, its not too loud, maybe a bit soft. Probably perfect for a quiet office but I'll try it out in my noisy one.

I bought this to mess with a co-worker who likes to play pranks in the office. It has been 3 weeks and it is absolutely driving him nuts. He even printed a "beep tracker" sheet he made so he could write down times to tell IT because he submitted a work ticket to have them help locate the beep. (I filled IT in so they are in on it so they dont waste their time. They were all too happy to help). We move it every few days and put it near different electronics in his office to change it up a little. Its small enough to fit anywhere and loud enough to hear over our hallways white noise machine.This is the best purchase under $20 I have made in a long time.The worst thing about this whole prank is having to keep a straight face.

So I received and set them up. Waiting for the noise to start happening is painful. You wait and wait and wait around 1 hr in if your paying attention you will hear a faint chirp. Then and hour or so later maybe another chirp. Definitely not worth it. Highly recommend not purchasing.
