I have an Ai Mesh of Asus routers with one in a metal outbuilding (shop) and a Ring Camera outside that metal building. Poor Wifi as the building is like a Faraday Cage. Attaching one of these to an antenna port on my Asus 3100 and running the wire out the garage door and the built in magnet base clicks to the building - viola!! great WiFi signal outside for the camera.

Honestly, the size and style of the item is exactly was I was looking for. The magnet mount is satisfactory. Unfortunately, I got a worse (lower) db signal from the wifi AP than I did with just the regular stick antenna that came with the router. The cables are undersized as well, so they are not robust. Very disappointed.

For use on a truck with on-board pumping equipment. "Magnetic mount" was the primary reason I chose this product. It is NOT magnetic. I had to glue the antenna base to the vehicle with an industrial adhesive. The antenna works well, but the listing is incorrect.

I'm having connection issues with my rear camera of my furrion camera system that came on my trailer brand new. Thought this might help by moving the antennae forward 10 feet. Didn't help at all. In fact made the connection worse.
