Bought to replace another from a motoring chain store that finally had worn out after several years' of regular use. Good for removing condensation and misting from interior glass surfaces and sometimes also the speedo and other instruments.The "Kent Car Care GKEG401 Microfibre Demist Pad" is inexpensive and is worth trying as the outer covering is also microfibre although thicker and apparently more absorbent than was the original which is thin and of moderate quality. The covering is dual-colour and the seams are securely sewn with something like a blanket stitch; that is also superior to the original product.While general care is simple, requiring a rinse in soapy water after use and then being allowed to dry, it may benefit from the same before first use in the event that there are any loose fibres.

I bought this as an aid for my new car and it works wonders. It is capable of demisting my windscreen in mere moments and really buffs the surface.My only gripe is that when I came to wash it, as instructed by the packaging, the pad lost some of its shape. This is disappointing, especially since this happened only after the first wash.Other than that, brilliant little product and does what it says on the packet.

Before buying this microfibre demist pad, I had seen the mixed reviews – some people saying it was great, others saying it didn’t work. It’s always hard to know which side to trust. Well, here is my opinion as to why there are mixed reviews.The pad seems to work well… but, only if your window is “slightly misted up”. If your window has the kind of mist where there are actual full water droplets, then that seems to be a bit too much for the pad to handle.So, it really comes down the amount of condensation you have to deal with. If you just need a quick wipe to clear very light misting, it will do the job. But, if you have really heavy condensation on the window, maybe look for something else.

The reason why I bought this cloth is because my wife found the inside window car punctually with condensation in the morning before going out and it took a long time (and many types of cloths) to try to demist it and eliminate condensation. None of the cloths available to her helped, consequently she had to wait minutes waiting for the air from the machine to help to decondensate. The good reviews helped us in choosing this pad. My wife is quite satisfied. It helps in the demisting work, even better if used together with the car air conditioning. It is small, compact, soft, absorbs effectively and can be washed in the washing machine or by hand at a maximum of 40 degrees. I am also very surprised at the price. Good quality at a great price.

Bought these as I was having a bit of a grease problem with my windscreen and it was misting up every journey.I had tried a lot of things to clean my windshield such as microfibre cloths, a sponge and even newspaper and vinegar and these pads were the best of the bunch.This little pad is a lifesaver for how cheap it is, it easily removed the layer of greasy dirt off my windscreen which meant that I was able to drive off without running the air conditioning for at least five minutes.Finally, to top it all off, the pad easily fits in my glovebox!
