Nautical Marine Spyglass Pirate Brass Telescope with Wooden Box 6 inch

Got this for my son and he loves it. Great quality and comes in a lovely sturdy box.

Got this for my nephew for his 18th birthday. There are so many gadget type things these days, and I wanted something hands on he could keep and actually use when he goes on his travels. He does history and likes old things (this is a reproduction but still 'historical' in its own way). It is solid brass, just the right size for travelling with, and comes in a wonderful quality leather case, which has a strap on the back to slot through a belt or bag strap so you don't lose it.I chose the HMV one because nephew is into collecting old LP records, but it would be nice for anyone - a nice bit of nostalgia.The 'face' of the compass is brass coloured and some of the markings are quite small, but you can easily see the main ones (north, south, east, west, ne, nw,se, sw and so on).It's wonderful to see something manual and mechanical and it doesn't need batteries!Everyone should have a compass! And it has the nice touch of being about 'direction' in life - a gift to guide you.Highly recommended.

Everything was great except for one thing. Zoom wasn't that far but overall it was pretty good and looks amazing on display ☺️👍

I had low expectations for this due to the price, but have been pleasantly surprised by the quality. My 3 year old is going to find it hard to break this one! Solid construction of both product and the beautiful presentation box - I can see plenty of pirate adventures ahead.

This would have been a great little product for our 3yr old son, who is mad about pirates, if it wasn’t for the fact that the box came with woodworm. We had it wrapped in its original packaging for a couple of months and when we went to unwrap it found woodworm holes and subsequent wood dust in the packaging. Luckily it was wrapped extremely well - hopefully it hasn’t spread. Woodworm aside, the box, although small, is smooth to the touch and has gold coloured metal detailing making it quite a lovely trinket box, and the spyglass itself is metal, a nice weight and frankly good value, and does the job. It’s really great, but the woodworm is not.

This is made so well, wasn’t expecting it to be this good For the price I paid! My pirate mad son is going to love it come Xmas morning. Thanks!

This just arrived today and I am disappointed. Although the description says 6inch box, it's actually only 4 inches long, and nearly 5.5 inches from corner to corner.I'm keeping the product because although it's listed wrong, the spyglass itself extends to 7.5 inches, is of very good quality and works wonderfully

Very surprised at how good this little telescope is. Nice solid wood box. I can confirm that there is an anchor on the lid (gold colour). Magnification about 1.5-2X. Scope made from metal and easy to use. Very pleased with the product.

Acquistato come giocattolo da regalo ho potuto apprezzare l'eleganza del cofanetto e la bella realizzazione del cannocchiale. E' di dimensioni contenute quando è chiuso, sta nel palmo di una mano, ed è composto da tre sezioni che quando allungate offrono anche un certo ingrandimento. Lo consiglio sicuramente a tutti, io ne acquisterò un altro da tenere come soprammobile.

Por su precio está muy bien. Fabricado con buenos materiales y además si miras a través de su lente hace algo de zoom.Queda muy bien en la estantería como decoración!
