KOH-I-NOOR Polycolor Brown Line Artist's Coloured Pencils (Set of 12)

Great to find a set of pencils purely devoted to one colour: brown. They are soft and creamy, though they do need sharpening a lot as they lose their point fast. Would be nice to have a set of greens as well, as I had to buy them individually.

This is a good range of ochre,earths and browns that includes two colours that are not in the 72 Polycolour set - 623 sandstone brown and 214 dark earth brown. If you get through these sort of colours quickly this is a really inexpensive way of getting them. (I like to get colourful darks by layering browns, blues and earths rather than using black.) These work out at just over 84p per pencil plus a sturdy free tin.A beginner who is building up their coloured pencil collection from a small basic set will find this dozen a useful addition for portrait and landscape. I've been impressed enough by the quality of and range of colours in Koh I noor coloured pencils to buy the largest set they make and recommend them.

I ordered these in grey and brown for adult colouring books. They are a much better selection of brown's than the grey which were too similar in shades that you couldn't tell the difference with most. These were better. I think they are more of an artist's pencil. The lead is soft, therefore you are sharpening them frequently. I've bought mixed sets in Steadler which are excellent for colouring but are mixed sets and I find some colours I hardly use. Too many Pinks, Purples, etc and not enough grey, brown or green for animals. I would buy this set in a mixture of greens if one ever became available on Amazon. I'm always running short of greens and brown's for trees, leaves, etc...

Not so smooth not made for blending

Very nice set with a complete range of brown colors. BUT, one color pencil is missing. Colored pencil # 28 is missing. If the set was complete, I would have rated it a 5.UPDATE....After writing the review I found the missing pencil on the rug., Apparently when opening the package one pencil fell onto the rug which I never heard when it fell. Sorry. I now rate it a solid 5 stars.

Ik heb eerder een set Koh-I-Noor Polycolor van 48 gekocht, maar voor landschappen te tekenen had ik een aanvulling van bruintinten nodig. De potloden bevallen me erg goed en hebben een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Zoals bijna altijd is de prijs bij Amazon.nl meestal 10-40% goedkoper dan bij andere Nederlandse webshops. De bezorging is snel, maar helaas is de verpakking meestal slecht (een kartonnen envelop zonder noppenfolie aan de binnenzijde) en zijn de potloodblikjes erg kwetsbaar en beschadigen soms. In dat geval is retourneren geen enkel probleem.

Lieferung war schnell. Es ist in einwandfreiem Zustand angekommen. Für diejenigen, die bereits das 72-Farben-Kit haben, werden sie im 12-Marron-Kit wiederholt. Nur zwei Farben, die nicht im 72-Farben-Kit enthalten sind, sind 3800/823 und 3800/214.

Très bon produit ,belles couleurs et un envoi très soigné

El precio no es de los más baratos, pero vale la pena. La gama de colores es muy bonita, con contrastes interesantes de tonos más amarillos o rosáceos.El color a la hora de pintar coincide mucho con el color exterior de la madera, lo que es de agradecer, y tiene cierto toque blando que hace que permitan difuminarse bastante bien, así como mezclarse entre ellos.Vienen en una práctica y segura cajita metálica que los conserva perfectamente.Bastante recomendables.
