I am more than pleased with this solar pump that was bought to replace the original electric one because we no longer could access main electric. I wondered if it would be powerful enough to operate the feature in its original way but it's more than powerful enough for the job. Yes it requires full sunlight , but enough was mentioned about this in the descriptions of the item but even on less than bright days it gives a steady trickle to fill the bucket eventually to tip. I'm sure the item could also be used to create an individual water feature anywhere where good sunlight is available to the panel. I did also tape a small garden peg to the back of the panel to secure in the ground but it works quite well propped up in the empty heavy plant pot.

I bought this to replace the mains pump included with a wall-mounted lion's head fountain, as I didn't want a long run of mains cable along my wall and prefer low-voltage solutions outdoors where possible anyway. It's perfect for small projects like this.I had to splice in extra cable (basic 'bell wire' intended for low-voltage applications) to mount the solar panel on a roof away from some big shade trees, which involved removing the water- resistant screw connectors and soldering in my own. Once set up it works great in either sunny or 'bright hazy' conditions, providing a steady, constant stream of water via an approx 18" flexible tube from the fountain's sump to its outflow.Just be aware that the lack of an integrated battery or charging circuit means that it won't pump water on dull days. Its not like a solar calculator that can make use of whatever light is available.I did have it running off a 9v battery for testing so it may be possible to connect it to some sort of rechargeable cell for use when the sun isn't shining, though im not sure the little panel included outputs enough to charge a battery and run the pump simultaneously. I'm quite happy with the solar panel as I only sit out on nice days anyway!

Cheap little pump and panel that I use for turning over water in my 2'x1' Medaka pond.Have created a small waterfall using this and some spare hose pipe. Didn't use the water feature connectors.I would question whether it could pressure water vertically more than about 20/30cm; however, it's a tenner and it works away happily and does what I need it to do.It only works when the entire panel is exposed to clear sunlightI can recommend this but manage your expectations before purchasing. Don't expect miracles.

Small and pretty when working efficiently however it does have its flaws.If the solar panel doesn't have full sun it will only let out occasional spurts of water.The pump gets clogged easily, I had to attach filter foam to the outside with a rubber band.It's slightly impractical to place, it has to be completely level and requires something for it to stand on to be at the water's surface unlike fountains that have a float.Not sure it was really worth the money but it looks okay with a lot of fiddling.

The actual solar panel isn't inside anything...it's just open to the elements, no casing at all. The solar panel is in the full sun but barely spurting out water, has to be directly facing the sun - Just being in the sun isn't enoughThankfully I've not got this for a pond it's just for a massssive garden bowl because my cats like slapping the waterPurchased in April, it's now June 17th and it has entirely stopped working. Pure shod.

The media could not be loaded.  Da meine vorige Solarpumpe nicht mehr funktionierte (dachte ich), habe ich gleich einen Ersatz bestellt. Wieder dieselbe Pumpe. Meine vorige hatte ich auch mehrmals über Winter draußen, ohne Probleme.Am Tag als meine neue Pumpe ankam, stellte ich fest das meine vorige Pumpe doch noch funktioniert. Vielleicht war nur was locker... Ich weiß es nicht. Aber es gibt keine Probleme mehr.So habe ich jetzt 2 und ich bereue es nicht wie man im Video sieht. Die neue Pumpe habe ich jetzt für den Winter rein geholt und nutze es als innenbrunnen (ich mag das Plätschern so sehr)Natürlich sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass es sich hier um eine Solarpumpe handelt, also ohne Sonne plätschert auch nichts, oder nur wenig. Bei voller Sonneneinstrahlung schießt es dann doch etwas über sich hinaus, weswegen ich sie meist ohne Aufsatz verwende oder nur den offenen, weichen Aufsatz.Im ersten Moment ärgerte ich mich weil ich die zweite nun "umsonst" gekauft habe, aber das war nach ein paar Minuten vorbei und ich bin froh darüber :)

Anche se micro, fa il suo lavoro quando c'è il sole. La consiglio x piccoli pond. Personalmente la sto usando senza giochi d'acqua perché smuove di più l'acqua.

J'ai ramassé cela parce que d'autres commentateurs ont dit que cela fonctionne même à l'ombre. Je dirais que c'est surtout le cas. Ce n'est pas un très bon rendement, plus comme un ronflement lent, mais l'eau bouge, et j'espère que c'est assez bon pour garder l'eau fraîche.

Me ha encantado!!! Queda muy bonita, eso si solo funciona con pleno sol, es muy relajante, fácil de montar, la placa solar tiene un cable muy largo, por lo que se puede poner la fuente a la sombra y la placa a pleno sol , yo le he puesto unas piedras Blancas y unas plantas y la bomba queda oculta

Man sollte sich vorher überlegen, wie groß die Pumpe sein soll. Diese ist sehr klein, nicht einmal Faustgroß. Und auch die Solarzelle ist sehr klein und funktioniert nur mit direktem Sonnenlicht. Aber für den Preis kann man auch nicht mehr erwarten. An der Pumpe ist immerhin ein kleiner Filter montiert, damit keine großen Schmutzpartikel eingesaugt werden.
