Really good, durable and LOUD!
The build quality is great and it's very, very loud. Battery life is good, having it last already around 1 year.My daughter loves it. Be careful about the time it will trigger. It wakes up the whole house. In my case, everyone except my daughter (but that's another issue...).

We like it and my kid love it the I give it four stars because I wish. When the alarm rings you can shut it down from the top not turn the switch off !!! It will be easier for the little kids!!!

Basic, but extremely cute. I had one not too dissimilar to this when I was a kid. It comes with instructions, but set up is pretty straightforward if you ever had one of these before. My daughter gets a real kick out of carrying it around the house. I set the alarm for her at intermittent times and she loves it; she loves anything loud, lol. Cheap way to introduce her to the concept of time and entertain her. Sidenote, I bought her the boys' clock. MUCH cooler looking imo. It's battery operated, so I'm hoping it's not a battery hog.

Hammer broke off
The alarm clock is cute. I turned it over to put the battery in, and the hammer fell out. It was only after I opened it up that I saw the plastic had broken off. There's no way to fix it. This was for a Christmas gift and I will be returning it.Update: The second one arrived intact and works fine.

Insanely Loud!
Cute clock, but SO LOUD. My son was so excited to get his own alarm clock, but unfortunately, this alarm clock is way too loud to actually use! Even when expecting it to sound it still makes us jump. Could never imagine having it ring in the morning! Disappointing!!

Great teaching tool as well
It is very loud and reliable! Great teaching tool as well. My kids hit the floor when the alarm goes off. It reminds me of the old style alarm clocks.

I bought this clock for my grandson's 5th birthday. He loves the size and colors and the alarm bell. He is actually sitting still and trying to read the time.
