Medela Breast Pump Replacement Valves and Membranes - Breast pump replacement parts for Medela Swing, Mini Electric and Harmony breast pumps

I don't often have time to write reviews but I love this Medea pump so much and cannot recommend it enough. I have had two children and found breastfeeding an incredibly distressing experience first time round as my first baby would fall asleep the minute he was on the breast and he was on the 9th centile weight for the first 5 months. My second baby , now 3 months old is a very greedy baby and for the first 7 weeks just wanted to be breast fed almost hourly ! He's huge and now weighs half what my 4 year old does. Both occasions I invested in a breast pump for different reasons. The first time round so that I could feel that I was giving my son breast milk without him falling asleep on the breast , the second to be able to give my body a break from a clingy , 'hangry' baby. I tried the AVENT pump first but did not get on with it at all, I was unable to relax or produce enough milk to make it worthwhile pumping. The Medela is brilliant, as long as you don't mind the rather absurd sucking noises at stronger settings. I find it easy to use, comfortable and conforming and have had very successful experiences with expressing . Don't get me wrong I Have also used formula for both babies and am not a breast feeding fanatic but baby number 2 prefers taste of breast milk, baby number one was poorly with recurrent ear infections so I wanted to boost his immune system. The Medela fits I. Perfectly with my day and I ve used it to relieve any extra pressure on my breasts when adapting to weaning etc. It is a pricey item but it's fast , reliable and without it I think I would have given up breastfeeding both children........

I love that the medela parts can be purchased seperately. The valve parts are usually the first parts to go on the pump and it's great to just buy replacements rather than having to spalsh out on a whole new unit.Although the medela products may seem pricey, they are great quality and having the ability to replace any parts that wear out or malfunction actually makes them very very good value for money as you can maintain the unit for a long long time to come.I am doing extended breastfeeding (currently at 18 months, aiming for 24 months) and the swing pump has been a godsend, even more so after returning to work. The medela products are brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Great little replacement. My plastic white but had a rip so my pump lost suction. This replacement fixed the problem. Medala pump works like new again and it's 9 years old.

I purchased the medela replacement valves and membranes because the membrane on my pump split (after 5months using it daily plus washing and sterilising)they are genuine medela products so you can trust that they will work with your medela pump and they are very cheap.I'm not sure you would need the extra yellow valves as well as the one with your pump but it is great that you get so many membranes to have as spares.Great product.

Bought this as my dog chewed the one I had and this fit perfectly. Got the suction back working and it’s been working ever since. Highly recommend

There is one issue which is across the devices on all the Medela pumps. The charging port (AC port) is ridiculous. I have ended up buying 4 of the pumps and have been disappointed and wasted a lot of money into it. Medela needs to take responsibility and replace them. The issue with pumping is you can not miss days and therefore I did not get time to get the pump checked with medela and ended up buying new all the times. Now that I am finally writing a review I hope they take care of this issue.

Needed these as the original valve seals had either been lost or split over time. Was trying to use the pump with a split membrane and hadn't realised, once these faulty ones were replaced the pump was back to full working potential!!
