Educational and interesting
The media could not be loaded. This is a great educational book about the different parts of the body and how they function for kids. Lots of information to help kids understand what their bodies do and why. I loved that the book was bright with flaps that kids could pull out making it exciting to learn. Definitely worth the price. The only thing I would have improved was the font sizes. I would have enlarged them for little ones but understand there's so much information being presented, there probably isn't enough space. Would definitely recommend this for kids from 3 years old.

Excellent answers to first questions
I bought this for my 4 year old who was having some investigations into health problems, and not surprisingly had begun to want to understand how his body works, and what the scans, xrays and blood tests that he had to have would be looking at. This book is just fantastic for holding a young child's interest. It's a very complex subject and I was beginning to find it a little difficult to answer his questions on trips to the hospital. Cue 'See Inside Your Body' - it answered many of the things he needed to know, and interested him in a whole lot more! Strictly speaking, I would imagine the books in this series are aimed at around 6/7/8 year olds, as the language is still a little complex for him in some cases (and he's a bright boy with good vocabulary) - but no matter, because the pictures are so brilliantly done, and the flaps such fun, it has captivated him ever since we first opened the front cover a year or so ago. Now he's 5 he is very fluent in describing how his blood flows around his body and how his digestive system works. Marvellous. Full marks to Usborne. I've just given him the book on Castles from this series and he's gripped by this too.

Daughter Loves It!
This is a fabulous book to introduce young children to biology. It covers the major functions of the body like skeleton, lungs and breathing, heart and blood, digestion and of course weeing and pooing which inevitably raises a giggle. There are lots of snippets of information under flaps to lift up and the whole thing is presented in a light-hearted fun way that keeps young kids engaged. There are no genitals or reproductive function covered in the book as it's for young kids. The body and diagrams are not specific to either sex. Wholly appropriate and well illustrated.I am very pleased with this book and my 5 year old often wants to read this at night rather than a story!

15 pages of human anatomy
This book gives a quick glance at and provides principal understanding of how the human body works together. My major concern however is about the ethics of how such information was acquired. More specifically, the desecration of the human body. For this reason it looses a star.Nevertheless, the book is interactively informative. That improves the learning curve as the learner's concentration is drawn consistently towards it via the interactive process. The book has 15 colorfully thick hard pages, each with several interactively informative flaps that might require parental/adult support depending on the child's experience/exposure. The book covers the different body organs in page segments. The book does not provide in-depth details but rather provides a foundation knowledge from which a child can structure an area of expertise.Note that when the book is bought new, the interactive flaps are tightly fitted and should be opened by an adult using a flat pointed object to carefully detach and lift the flaps. Once the flaps are lifted, the flaps should be pushed till they complete 180 degrees in the opposite direction. That will help loosen the flaps for easier use consequently. Using vigorous methods to open the flaps could damage the flaps. The weight of the book is not described but when checked on a reliable scale, it weighs 820grams.This is a book that was given birth to by curiosity and remains to feed the curious. The only reason this book has not lost more stars for ethics is because it is present today so that the future does not have to revisit the past.

Great for 3 years and up
My 3 year old loves this book. He is very curious about all the different ‘tubes’ inside us and how everything works. The flaps make it fun for this age group. He understood a fair bit but there are also harder concepts to grasp so the book will stay relevant for a few years I think. A great introduction to biology for preschoolers

Just what l was looking fir
My 9yr old grandkid asked for a book to show where organs are in your body. This book does that in easy simple to read information with diagrams with flaps. This will be a great learning book.
