Quality aux connections kit.
Kit is very well made and is easy to fit. I fitted this to my Honda Civic 2007. Sat nav etc still works fine. Much cheaper than buying a double din stereo. Connected to my I pod and very pleased with my purchase. I looked at different kits but was swayed by the great reviews from other buyers. Definitely recommend this product.

Works well and gives good sound quality
Works well and gives good sound quality, well worth watching fitting video I found on youtube. Quite a lot of trim nedds to be removed to get to the back of the radio/cd player but following instructions and buying set of trim removal tools, I managed the job in about 25mins. A longer jack lead would have given 5 stars. I would recomend this product.

Doesn't work I'm afraid
Having spent two hours dismantling the car console, plugging in the aux adapter, plugging in the phone to play.... nothing. No aux selection can be obtained from the radio. I can't be certain where the fault lies, not being an expert in 2006 Honda radios or aux adapters, but I've had no luck, maybe you will have some.

Brilliant
Fantastic upgrade! It's quite an involved installation on the MK8 Civic as much of the dash and centre console has to be removed to gain access to the stereo but it's really quite simple. Once you've got access it's a quick job to fit and route the wiring. Sound quality is just as good as the CD player with no loss of volume or quality. My only little gripe is that the cable for this particular model could be longer so it can be mounted in the centre console arm rest but I've ordered a Bluetooth receiver to plug into the unit to get round that little issue.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to everyone.

great on civic 06 5dr non sat nav.
Fitted to a Honda Civic 1.8l petrol 2006(space ship shape) 5dr non-stat nav version, no problem.what does it do?Lets you play music from portable devices or basically anything with 3.5mm headphone socket. How? It connects to the back of you standard Honda in car headunit and pretends to be CD-multi changer audio source. The silver box takes a provided wiring harness from the cd-charger and converts it into a RCA phono lead(red+white lead to 3.5mm headphone jack). As the cd-charger cable and port are keyed in a particular shape you can not plug it in incorrectly.Does it charge you phone? no, its audio in only. Can the car headunit or steering wheel controls skip tracks etc? no, its audio in only.Is it hard to install? it took me approx 2hrs. Youtube dash take apart videos for your car. It is typically a tricky job but doesn't require huge amount of strength or special tools, its just very tricky bending plastics and reaching behind places you cannot see.
