Bought this to help me move a few broken down cars which I regularly come across with no towing eyes. Hook this up toMy axle strap and everyone happy saves me so much time. Great price too.

I have the 1/2-inch ("2 tonne") version of these. I haven't had to use them in earnest, but they look as if they will serve for towing and recovery on level ground. The 2T limit is specified as the working load, and not the static breaking strength; I suspect that for heavy recovery work (pulling vehicles out of ditches) or even even on hilly terrain, a larger size might be appropriate.The manufacturer's quoted sizes seem correct, but the quoted weight is twice as high as I measured -- about 300g. Perhaps the quoted weight is for the pair?There are some minor blemishes in the paintwork, but none of note. The tab on the pin is easy to grip and operate with fingers, but fiddly with gloves. The pin threads are dry as supplied; I would recommend greasing them if the shackles are to be left on a vehicle, or you might find them rusted shut.All in all, hard to fault at this price. I will probably buy the larger ones, and keep these for backups.

Noryb equipment is really great quality to be fair, just let down by using such an awful delivery service by Hermes / Evri. Been waiting over 3 weeks now for delivery!
