Totally worth the asking price !
These PerSonus HD7 headphones have far exceeded my expectations. I own several pairs of headphones including AKG MX50'S which cannot compeate with the HD7'S. The soundstage is impressive and well balanced. I am using the phones for mixing and they honestly have not disappointed. All frequencies are represented with undeniable clarity and balance as I mentioned. Headphones and the sound they deliver is a very personal choice but I have to say that the HD7'S deliver for to my liking without a doubt. Of course you can spend more but going on the reviews I had read on various forums which were incredibly complimentary I decided to give them a go and I am so glad that I did. Comfort wise I have no complaints however I will be looking out for a set of velour ear cushions to avoid the dreaded hot and sweaty ear syndrome that faux leather cushions give me. I do not think you can get the quality and depth of sound that the HD7'S unless you spend considerably more money. The designers must be congratulated for delivering thses phones at the price point thay have....unbelievable. Best 40 quid I've spent in a long time. Highly recommended...

Take the leap and buy them, it's a good piece of kit!
Good comfortable set of Semi-Closed Headphones, I don't have any complaints at present, the volume through them is clear and concise. For what you could pay with other similar head sets, this is a bargain. Also in my opinion it's very, very comfortable, is big enough to fit most heads. (Please don't ask me for measurements, google information) It is light in my opinion and was worth my hard earned cash, despite some negative reviews. I would suggest you go with your gut feeling on these and any other purchase on Amazon otherwise you'll end up financially worse off for no reason then a bad review. P.S Remember it comes with a jack adapter already screwed on the end of the cable, just unscrew it and it works in normal headphone sockets. I forgot about this initially, which at first startled me until a few seconds later I remembered and unscrewed the attachment. Easily done as no reminder in box. I brought this through Amazon, it came way before the expected delivery time. It is worth getting these if you want quality.

Good sound for the money, but some way short of the best in hifi terms.
Good sound for the money, but some way short of the best. These headphones sit comfortably over the ears, and have a nice long flexible cable which adds to their practicality. They deliver a very listenable sound for their price point, a warmish balance, with a full upper bass, reasonable balance across the other frequencies and decent dynamics. I have used them for listening to a range of music types played via a Sugden CD21 CD player hooked into a Douk headphone amplifier, also for monitoring bass guitar played via a Palmer Pocket Amp Bass. In these situations the Presonus HD7s are pleasant enough to listen to, but in hifi terms fail to deliver the kind of transparency, immediacy, treble clarity, deep bass and dynamic range you get from something like Sennheiser HD 280 studio monitor headphones. Unlike the Sennheisers, the Presonus HD7s are not so cruelly revealing of the limited recording quality of some CDs, so don't be misled by the word 'Studio' in the name. Note that the first set of Presonus HD7s I purchased had a wiring fault. The second set have no such issues.

Waaay better than you would expect for the money
Wow! Unbelievably good for this amount of money. Why spend more when these are so sweet. They feel nice and light, very comfortable, and, well, for the price of a takeaway you have a fantastic pair of cans. I'm shocked

Best new studio headphones out there
I own a load of studio headphones and these tick all boxes there neutral with no hype Noise cancelling adds bass so you could use that to test your mixes. there built like brick but very comfortable It’s like all others either have too much shrill or bass and no mids or too much mids but my mixes translate well from these too the fact they have Bluetooth is just brilliant specially considering there made for studio use meaning I can reference other mixes and know my headphones well so big up presonus for an outstanding product.

Disappointing after the other reviews
Time was when you could buy good quality headphones for very little outlay.Since the rise of the iPOD and smartphone those days are long gone. Now you get what you pay for as manufacturers have sought to squeeze the cash from the headphone generation and you now pay £100 to get what used to cost £25. I was expecting Presonus to be an exception, especially given their reputation, the intended market of project studio users and the reviews of others.Sadly these phones fall into the cheap and cheerful bracket. If cash is really short then they will help until you can buy some serious headphones for the studio, but don't make the mistake of expecting to hear what's really going on in the music. you can use them as a spare pair of tracking headphones but definitely not for mixing - absolutely not. The bass end is solid without falling for the modern fad of over-hyping it but the mids and tops are far from helpful. The mids are hollow and will give you quite the wrong impression of vocal and guitar tonality and dynamics. the top end is somewhat brittle and i cannot see using them over a long session with comfort. As to wearing them, they are light weight and generally comfortable but ooze budget build quality. I don't expect them to cope well with the rigours of the studio. If you are serious about tracking and mixing in your studio then please save up to get something in the £100-£200 range: Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, AKG, so on and so forth. My AB comparisons with such headphones were like switching on and off a light - an unfair test you might say but people make strong claims about these headphones being as good as headphones many times their price: they are not. I am sorry to be negative as I genuinely admire Presonus and use much of their gear, but in this case spending more will certainly get you something better. Use these as your spares.

Build Quality 5/5 I was sceptical until I held these in my hands, but these are built like the proverbial brick $***house. They're going to take a fair amount of force to bust these babies. Only issue really is the ear-pads could be made of better material than the Pleather ones supplied. Comfort 5/5 Very nice for mine. They are quite weighty which may put some people off, but I like a solid comfortable pair of cans which is what these are. Audio Quality 4/5 These are not going to be the very best sounding headphones, but I would put them up against any Bluetooth/Noise cancelling headphones within the $100-$250 range and they would be holding their own with a bees dick of difference. Features and Accessories 3/5 This is where the headphones fall down a little. Micro USB jack for charging? Seriously? that's so 2012. The Headphone Jack cord is a metre too short and flimsy feeling. The supplied zip-up case is nice. Noise Cancelling switch is nice, If I was to change something it would be to put the on switch as a notch on the NC switch, rather than a long press on the side of the headphones (It's a bit silly where it is, what happens if the switch is accidently activated, let say when someone stashes it in a school backpack and the battery gets drained!) I know there's other features that some other brands have, but as long as the bluetooth and the NC works, that's all you really need. Value for money 6/5 I got these for $65, Let me say that again - $65!!! Looking at the build quality and the lovely case included I seriously doubt you could buy the materials for that. It's a 'No-Brainer' People! Personal gripe with many of these types of headphones these days is the lack of a user replaceable battery! Seriously these headphones look to be built to last a lifetime. Shame that the rechargeable battery stuck inside will expand/leak long before anything else breaks.

Had no real expectations for these headphones but boy I was stunned by the sound and build quality. I purchased them for one task only, to record guitar with my PreSonus AudioBox iTwo but now im using them for everything. For this low price I can't say anything else than that this is a steal!
