In the Garden of My Dreams: The Art of Nathalie Lété

I purchased this book a couple of months ago using the lovely images to create one of a kind (blank) art cards to give friends throughout the year. The book was so much better than I had expected, I just bought another one. Natalie Lete’s books are a work of art!

I have been a fan of Nathalie Lete's art for several years. This book is just fantastic because it gathers so much of her art in one place. Many vendors that feature items with her art on them are in Europe (as is she) so it's great to be able to order this and receive it quickly and from a known and trusted seller. I highly recommend - the art is gorgeous, whimsical and colorful. I'm thinking of ordering another to disassemble and frame some of the pix!

Oh Nathalie, oh Nathalie, I really wish I could fill my home with your creations. What is it with the friggin French in that that they create the most insane art? Nathalie Lete’s work has such a range, from ceramics, to rugs, to embroidery and paintings along with many other types of media. This woman is such a poserhouse. Her designs are sweet and beautiful without being too cutesy. I love her newest book more than any other book I have recently ordered. So pour yourself a cup of something yummy and curl up in a chair perhaps with a cat on your lap and enjoy this beautiful book.

This book should be at the top of the list for all Nathalie Lete fans and others who delight in cheerful illustration. The book has a luxe outer appearance thanks to the cushioned, fabric-like binding. A page marker has been thoughtfully added to help you remember your place after you have lost all track of time being mesmerized by this book and must leave it to do some mundane chore. The book is brimming with Ms. Lete's art with some diary-like explanations scattered about allowing the reader a glimpse into the mind of the artist. The scale of this book is just right--the illustrations are mostly full-page; large enough to enjoy to details that make Ms. Lete's work so endearing. Did I mention the two pages of stickers at the end of the book? What a treat!

Disappointed as it arrived with a large dent in the lower right corner and smudged! So weird. It looks pre-owned rather than new.

Just such a beautiful book of glossy pages, filled with inspiration. You’ll be grabbing your favorite paints!

Page after page of gorgeous images. If you love vintage inspired florals and novelty toys this book is for you. Nathalie’s art is truly beautiful and nostalgic. Really beautifully made book. The cover is fabric and a gorgeous color. The vibrant color images are wonderfully rendered. Bonus sticker pages included!

A capa é em tecido brilhante e acolchoada, isso não dá pra perceber pelas fotos. E as ilustrações são uma explosão de cores vibrantes e saturadas. É simplesmente lindo, lúdico e inspirador.
