There are several reasons I like the NailStar. I am a large woman with large hands. The NailStar has a wide enough mouth that allows my entire hand to fit inside. I read reviews for other nail dryers & every one of them indicated you had to dry your thumbs separately because you couldn't fit your whole hand inside. With this one, everyone can (see photo). The second reason I like the NailStar is that my nails always look nice. I don't have to wait for an appointment to have them done (which I don't enjoy). I can do them myself anytime I want & look as though I just stepped out of a manicurist's parlor. Another reason I like the NailStar is it is available at such a reasonable price. Yes, there are cheaper products available but none that came with a timer with four settings, had a large enough opening, looked nice, & was easy to operate. I don't write a lot of product reviews. I leave seller/product feedbacks but don't usually take the time to write a review of the product itself. I did in this case, however, because I wanted to pass along the recommendation of a non-professional who likes the results of using this product. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to friends, family, & whoever else is looking for an LED nail dryer/polish setter.

I bought this swish looking nail lamp dryer as a xmas pressie for a dear and deserving friend; she loves it and proudly showed off her chic nails to me having used it for the first time this week - they looked fab! She is thrilled as she has, for the past few years, been paying a professional manicurist/pedicurist to shellac her nails and neither of us could tell the difference now she is using this nail NailStar product to beautify her own nails!She reports the NailStar Professional LED Lamp Dryer is "sooo simple to use" (rather lovely that soon after purchasing, The Body Source emailed clear, concise instructions in their quest to ensure their customers achieve the best results possible from their stylish product's use) and she cannot believe she has spent all the money she has in the past in order to achieve the same professional results her manicurist/pedicurist delivered - and all at her own convenience in the comfort of her home!When I next feel I deserve a treat, I intend to buy one for myself and meanwhile can't wait to benefit from her offer to beautify my nails' appearance using this attractive item!The NailStar product was delivered surprisingly promptly given the proximity to xmas in which I placed my order and I am more than happy to write this honest review following receipt of a refreshingly sincere and grateful feedback request from Joshua, the Managing Director and Founder of NailStar - especially as the item was/is on special offer and therefore represents excellent value for money! I was completely new to gel polish after having it done at the salon and converting straight away when I saw how long they last.I quickly decided to invest in my own kit and after researching for a while and reading the reviews I decided to give this lamp a go. I've been using it for 2 months now and it's fantastic. I use it with Bluesy gel polish and my nails last for at least 2 weeks (unless i get bored and change the colour sooner). I do find that it works better if i do my thumbs separately as when I do a whole hand at once the side of the thumb doesn't cure properly and the polish starts to lift. However for the ease and convenience of doing my nails at home, plus the money i'm saving by not going to the salon, I think this is a small price to pay. The timer function is great and the lamp is so portable you can pretty much do your nails anywhere. I would definitely recommend this lamp.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this lamp since 2021 and it’s still going strong. It cures gel polish really quickly, and I love the built-in timers—especially the 30-second setting for quick layers. That said, sometimes the sides of my nails don’t cure fully, especially my thumbs. I usually pop my thumbs in on their own to make sure they’re right under the lights, and that does the trick.The 30-second button has started to stick a bit and I sometimes have to press it a couple of times to get it to turn on. Not a huge deal—it’s been a few years and I’ve definitely not been the most careful with it, so it could be from getting a bit dirty. I even showed it in a video I posted.Also, just a heads-up: I tried to clean some gel mess off the top with acetone before recording the video, and the acetone actually took some of the black paint off the lamp. So definitely don’t use acetone on the surface—lesson learned!It’s a little tight to fit my foot in for pedicures, but because the lamp is small and lightweight, it fits easily in my nail kit, which I really like. As a beginner, it’s been a reliable lamp and I’d happily repurchase it when this one gives out.

I love this lamp, just done my nails and am very happy! It's quite small so easy to pack away, it cured my DND gel polish no problem along with my builder gel. Great price aswell, very happy with it and hopefully it lasts but so far so good!
