Great high quality 4K web cam!
Needed a nice web cam for both work and family group video calls. Quality of the video and sound are great, clear and smooth, and auto-framing works great. Highly recommended!

This is amazing
I had my doubts? Because my gaming setup is triple 55's inch tv's and this thing captures all 3 perfectly I totally recommend it if you have a triple monitor setup

High hopes
I really wanted to like this one. I tried a Jabra Panacast before it and hoped to have better luck with this one. Unfortunately, it has a fatal flaw for a conference room camera. It needs to have dedicated software installed to make the smart functions work. When set-up it works well, but it is a bit of a memory hog. Overall, I can’t imagine a good use for this camera unless you always put a decent PC in the conference room and don’t bring in laptops to join and host meetings.

I love the "idea" of this camera but it has room to improve
180 degrees gives me plenty of options to capture an entire room for an online meeting. The 180 degree view is a wonderful feature. Here are the problems. The software is a memory/processor hog so you cannot use the software that recognizes faces with a Surface Pro. Still, you can use the camera without the provided software (and give up face recognition), but the camera has a challenge with lighting. In a normally lit room, the camera overexposes so the lights and windows disappear in a sea of white. In a dimly lit room, the camera flutters and flickers trying to compensate for low lighting. There are no controls to make minor adjustments to lighting. So the camera is either over exposed or it flickers back and forth until you find the right room lighting scheme to stop the flicker. For me, I had to turn on my kitchen lights, turn off my nook lights and turn on my living room lights to stop the flicker. I'm sure this will be a good product in the future, but there are improvements that are needed. Hopefully future versions of this camera will solve these issues. Unfortunately, this camera will not be my standard in my conference rooms and huddle rooms going forward. (at least until the issues are fixed).

Poor Linux compatibility; image is not correctly "stitched" in panoramic view
While the camera does have a UVC driver, the main Innex software that you need to enable more advanced features, is not available on Linux (Windows and Mac only). Also, while the camera does do 4K, it looks like it does so by horizontally stitching together images from the 3 different camera sensors -- but there's a bug in this, as the image gets cut off around 1/3 and 2/3 of the way through. You can see this noticeably happen in the first picture with the white background (look at the leftmost column on the chart). This issue basically makes the camera unusable, unless Innex can issue a firmware update.

Taking it to a step above.
Conferencing in 4k, with an autodetect on how many people are in the room, and adjusting to accommodate the same. Easy setup. Put the included batteries in the remote. Attach the included USB C to USB A adapter cable. Plug the USB C end into the camera. It is a right angle plug so let the wire extend upwards so the camera body can sit flat. Plug it into a USB 3.0 port on your PC if you want to achieve 4k, (Be sure to use the included USB 3.0 cable or equivalent) and into a USB 2.0 port if you want 2K or 1980x 1080.There is a privacy cover that you open up by spinning the sleeve ring toward the front of the camera, the lens edge, or close it by spinning it to the left. It has a premium high density Sony sensor providing superb clarity, 120-degree view, and auto-framing in order to fit everyone into the view. It doesn't have an optical zoom, but rather a 5X digital zoom. It has dual microphones to capture sound, but I was hoping that it had a separate mic input to lavalier, or wireless mic send-receive units could be used. It has pan, tilt, and zoom controlled via the remote control. So, it is a practical solution for video conferencing, online education, coaching, and live streaming. That is what perked my interest was the liver streaming for using with You Tube.To use the camera, you can go to the Funtech Innovation website and download the VAP Studio in whatever version is native to your device/operating system. By the way, I am surprised that the included instructions are so scant, but with some searching you can acquire what you need to know. It says on the Innex web site that the software is optimized for your Innex C220 and C470. Unfortunately, it does not recognize this new C570 camera because it cannot connect to it, and the web site says nothing about connecting to a C570.Moving forward the easiest way to get started is to open the video conferencing app of your choice. There are many options out there from Webex, to Zoom, to Google Hangouts, to Star Leaf and many more to choose from. Google Hangouts is being upgraded to Google Chat at the end of 2022. Some people have already upgraded and are now already unable to use Google Hangouts. It is nice though because you can use it both in your mobile device, or PC etc. Playing with Google Chat and hitting the center button on the remote you instantly go into “auto-framing” which zooms into a more balanced shot. If you sit back in your chair, it automatically adjusts. If you sit up, it adjusts again as well. So, the camera has some really nice features that are part of the camera, and work in your video conferencing app of choice automatically. All in all, this is definitely a step up in video quality for video conferencing. Adding to that the advanced features in this camera the Innex C570 that was just released in 2022 making it an up-to-date device in the industry. Now all I have to do is get some makeup, and put a hat on. Highly recommended.
