NOVINO Boat Propeller for Mercruiser Alpha One/Bravo One & Mercury Outboard Engines 135-300HP 2&4-Stroke, Aluminum Boat Propeller 15 Spline Tooth, Right Hand Rotation

Decided my old banged up 23 pitch 3 blade prop needed replaced for the beginning of the new season. I mainly use our boat (2004 Caravelle 187 w/ a 4.3 V6 and alpha 1 drive) to pull tubers or skiers, so I decided to swap to a 4 blade 21 pitch prop. Prop was shipped super quickly, and it only took 15 minutes to install (instructions were nice and clear). I was very impressed by the quality of the prop, and even more so with the performance, the boat jumps right out of the water now and it planes better then before while pulling tubers/skiers. Definitely a great prop if your looking for value/perfromance!

So far performs much better than the original 14 1/2" prop, up on plane faster, higher top speed. Easy install but no directions so takes a good look to figure out the shoulder of the splined sleeve goes outside the prop housing. Excellent price for a nice performance improvement.

went from a 3 prop to a 4 blade for more stability and less vibration.

Really easy to install. Just followed the instructions and I was done in basically 5-10 mins. We took it out on the lake yesterday and it worked great. I transitioned from a 3 blade to this 4 blade. If you are doing the same thing then you need to be aware of the pros and cons. The pro: It is much more stable in low speeds and choppy water. It handles very smooth and takes off quick. You can maneuver the boat with a little more ease than a 3 blade. The cons: The only con we noticed is that it does not get our boat up to top speed as easy as our 3 blade did. You have to get to higher RPM which is more taxing on your engine. So that is a major con to me. So be warned, if you want a smoother ride and more agile boat then there is a trade off for top speed...or at least less fuel efficient as you have to rev it up more to get there.I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to buy another 3 blade or not. I'll try this one out for a bit longer and decide.

The media could not be loaded. We purchased our boat with a damaged prop, and this was a great replacement. Nice and sturdy.
