Tried to power on both with no success. Luckily I had some spare CR2032When you open the case, you may think the wire inside is broken, but it is the sensor , and after replacing the battery you have to locate the sensor into the back before closing the case.When replaced the battery in each, they powered on immediately...Can only give 3* overall. due to dead batteries and no explanation about the sensor location.Initially placed both of these next to each other in the Fridge to test temperatures were the same.Both settled at 5.4c..... will now move one into the Freezer.

The thermometers arrived the next day. They would not power on. I wondered if they had batteries installed. No instructions on how to change the batteries so I guessed I needed to unscrew the backplate. Batteries were indeed installed. I replaced the supplied batteries with new ones and both thermometers switched on and work perfectly.

Initially thought the devices were not functioning but after replacing the batteries they worked fine. Shame.

Both batteries in my 2 Pack of these were completely dead, had to buy some more before they turned on at all, work fine though but would really want a partial refund for having to buy new batteries

Both batteries in the item were flat put in new ones and they were fine

I wanted to keep an eye on the fridge temperature and for that it's fine with the min and max value saved. Its easy to read and reset the min and max. However after only 5 months the battery went flat. I know that's not drastically short and its not great conditions for a battery but i would have expected a year.

Bought to use in my greenhouses as they have a memory for low and high temperatures
